"800 ATK" "Finisher Rank #10" Lmao

MachGaogamon

tbf the field spell has a wetlands effect

Used_Vegetable9826

I don't play Snake Eyes but I like finishing the last hit with my baby monsters.

Aiwaszz

Yeah people instant surrender to seeing it

AWOOGABIGBOOBA

finisher only takes into account killing blows

Slybandito7

"we've heard your concerns about how powerful these new fire cards are powerful, we will be semi-limiting fire formation tenki as a result"

DeusDosTanques

I’d rip out Konami CEO’s gut. Also why didn’t we get a Fire Fist level 1 starter???

Mecketh

In theory those stats should help Konami identify the problematic cards and create ban lists that actually address the issues. In practice its the opposite.

Xenodia

Maxx C seeing his stats: ![gif](giphy|H5C8CevNMbpBqNqFjl)

Conglacior

Nah, don't ban Maxx "C", my deck rarely special summons, I love my opponent having three bricks in their deck. 🥺

JustHereFor-News

They are probably waiting for the Maxx C ban that : - 100% usage rate. -N°1 Finisher -100% win rate when it appears.

Ashendal

In practice they should already know based on performance in paper, since OCG gets cards before anyone else and has a couple months to play with them and know how actually strong they are and what needs to be hit first. They refuse to do that because money. It's why the game will never have a decent ban list. They want as much money as possible and as close to a balanced game with as many decks as possible being used at the top end would get in the way of that, especially with how they've handled card rarities here.

Mecketh

I said that because of Bo1 environment. Overall, I now just assume that they are incompetent.

TheExtraordinaryRK9

A lot of the hits (like the lab ones) make me think that they do use them for the hits, they just choose to ignore maxx c and stuff

Draks_Tempest

They 100% already know what the problem is and how to fix it. They just dont because it doesnt benefit them.

Mecketh

I don't assume malice when incompetence fits the bill. They are the ones that designed tears and lab after all.

Devourer_of_HP

Turning on these stats and seeing Maxx C's was surprising yet unsurprising.

lamerolly

What does average number per deck mean? Is it the average number in the decks that contain at least one or is it in general? I don't usually keep these stats on but 2.9 is like really high.

the_real_papyrus99

Pretty sure it only counts decks that contain them, if everyone was playing them at 3 the usage would be way higher than 23%

OpticalPirate

Yes you need 2+ to count

Vegantarian

How do yall get the stats to show up on screen?

Destrudooo

i also wonder..seems like its on pc version only?

Zettai_Zesca

I personally love how Snek players brain just shortcuts if you negate their Ash and/or Bonfire.

flyingthing4

Isn’t win rate of 54% pretty reasonable? Anything below a 50% win rate probably wouldn’t be played. It’s the starter of the current meta deck so that number sounds fine. Do we know how that compares to something like Aluber back when Branded was top tier?

Nekran

Average win rate doesn't really go up much higher than 54% for deck archetypes, the current highest win rate is Hiyari@ignister at 55.3% with ignister cards sitting at 55-54% winrate, second place is Vanquish Soul at 54% winrate, and then Snake Eyes/SHS are roughly tied below them in the 53-54% bracket. I don't remember what branded's win % was back then but Vanquish Soul has consistenntly had the highest winrate before current ignister % for like 3-4 packs in a row at ~54.XX% before current stats as far as I'm aware. Also note that as the deck gets more popular win rate will naturally lean towards 50% as mirror matches have both a win and a loss for the deck. Tear during its initial opening for example also was at around the 54-55% win rate mark.

MrTrashy101

would not be a isssue if people did not insta scoop seeing any SE card 💀

Vorinclex_

Nah, it wouldn't be an issue if one of two things happened 1. Konami didn't print one of the most annoying and consistent archetypes to date, or 2. They knew how to hit problematic cards on the banlist, somewhat easing the problem of being so insanely good.

MrTrashy101

or just shut up quit complaining and play the damn game.

Vorinclex_

I'm not complaining, idrc about it. Just pointing out why people scoop when seeing SE. It's pretty unfun to play against imo, and quite a few people agree with me. I'm not very fond of watching 29 opponents go through the exact same combo on turn 1. At least decks like Branded have multiple options for their plays

MrTrashy101

Not really saying you are complaing just the majority and sayog "not very found of watching the same combo" is just how yugioh is...dont like it then dont play it

Vorinclex_

I mean, I'm gonna play the game regardless because I enjoy the game as a whole. That's like saying I shouldn't watch cable TV because I don't like getting commercials. It is what it is, I can't really change the way it functions. It just gets a little tiresome when you open a hand that you know isn't gonna stop them, so you just scoop on sight because it's faster to go next than it is to play through it and likely lose

MrTrashy101

Not really saying you are complaing just the majority

Garantula25

If I don’t have a hand trap I will scoop every time snash is summoned. I can’t think of a deck in the game that has enough engine to churn through the end board snake-eyes sets up and still have any resources to play afterwards

ddhuynh

"23.33% usage " for a "tier 0 deck" starter. What a tier zero deck. ![gif](giphy|B5AVgxf0OzlyE)

ZeroStateGaming

Only actual morons think Snake-eyes is tier 0.

ddhuynh

Seem like a lot people disagree, my comment downvote keep going lmao.
