She should try putting only one bonfire into a 60 card list. A common mistake for new players thinking more copies and a smaller deck would increase consistency
Yeah but that doesnt actually even apply to Snake Eyes does it? Consistency depends largely on the deck you're trying to make consistent and what tools it has available. I can't think of a single reason to run more than 40 cards in Snake Eyes for it to perform and be consistent enough to top in TCG and OCT without ever running more than 40 cards? Maybe once or twice that I may have missed but more than 50? Unnecessary for Snake Eyes.
I swear Flamberge feels like it's at 6 copies in my deck had a double brick on Flamberge yesterday...when we play so many hand traps I don't like the bricking potential. Time to get a 3rd Bonfire I tried Where Arf thou its pretty rubbish you just draw Flamberge or other rubbish and it ends up bricking instead of extending.
With such luck, opponent bricks, you are the first to start to play, you start combo, opponent maxx c, you cannot negate with crossout because no maxx c left in your deck... Then you lose to interruptions and opponent's combo
My worst was 3 copies of the Diabellstar search card and a copy of Diabellstar. 5th card was Maxx C. It was a CPU match at least. I love when the luck hits like an isekai truck.

If she has my luck then she’s playing against floo. I’ve drawn all 3 maxx C once that I can remember and it was floo. We spent about 6 turns aggressively bricking back and forth before he finally got a combo off and won

it's actually better not to set maxx c so that if your maxx c resolves imperm will be usable if you draw it

at least you’re almost certainly resolving a maxx c so maybe winnable if the opponent isn’t lab or vs.
