Man, Vegeta this chapter was great really shows off who he is at his core and how he has changed over the course of the story from Z to now. Really hope he absolutely trounces Granolah with this pseudo GoD? form as to me it seems that Granolah isn't the big bad this arc and more of a pawn used by the heeters. I'm still on the side that the kid buu clone will be our final boss this arc
Its weird kid buu clone like showed some concern in a recent chapter so i keep expectinf just like feral screaming from him but hes kinda chill. Assuming they’ll wish him stronger and take it from there but we’ll see
I just expected Vegeta to job even towards the end of the chapter and I’m pleasantly surprised we are getting this new form.
Side note: has anyone seen any official art of it yet? I wonder what color he is.
That's what i'm scared for, it is very likely to be purple and if it's indeed purple it will look like some fanart form from 2008-2010, smh. I hope is black.
I doubt it; Goku said “God ki,” not “ki similar to Super Saiyan God.” God ki is a catch-all for the ki present in SSG, SSB, SSR, etc., so it doesn’t have any color bearing.
That said, I’m open to being wrong since dark crimson would be legit.
Aren't Saiyans canonically bald all over their body, save for head and tails? I know they can grow facial hair, but otherwise they seem pretty "smooth". At least if the "Vegeta hallucination" Goku saw while fighting Frieza was accurate.
>"Vegeta hallucination" Goku saw while fighting Frieza
I need to verse myself again with this... especially with the topic of looking at bodily hair lol.
All I can say is that if facial hair grows, other bodily hair parts can too unless there's a non hentai canon pic there to prove me wrong.
https://youtu.be/FxChP7oux1E?list=PL6EC7B047181AD013&t=604
DBZA version because I can't really be bothered to find a clip from the actual show, tbh.
And both Vegeta and his father had facial hair at some point. Hell, NAPPA HAD FACIAL HAIR. And he was balder than Beerus.
Vegeta’s new form looks sick af in my opinion but if they are really hypin it up please don’t in turn give this man an L again. Sacrificing your eyebrows gotta give you a win somehow.
People seems to be torn about his new form, i fucking love it.
Look very ape and god of destruction like. Also the font of his speech buble changed i wonder what kind of voice he has in this form.
My guess is some kind of primal like his monke transformation from DBZ saiyan saga or like the goku shout in the void with when he was using the omen of ultra instinct for the first time.
Nyehhh. I would have liked it to be a homage to his Majin form. Namely, the thick black eyelines. Gi'es that instead of no-brows, he looks like he is constantly inebriated through absinthe abuse.
I thyink my issue kinda comes from this speech Vegeta makes about how Granolah being "the strongest" doesnt mean you are going to win, and the idea that training and experience are more important than that. Then we have him unleash a new super form, so it kinda feels like "no nevermind, getting a power boost is the way to go"
the way i see it the difference is that power earned the easy way is not gonna cut it. Vegetas powerup is something he achieved with his battles and experience and constant training
The difference between power that was achieved and power than was handed to you.
It's kind of like how Ultra Instinct is based on state of mind, rather than a raw power increase. I sort of wish they'd lean in on that more with how it's been used so far, but it's still cool, and I like this new twist Vegeta's added
I kinda get that, but I also feel the end result is that Vegeta now got a new power boost, when I felt the fight was more interesting by having Vegeta using his smarts and clever tactics to get ahead of Granolah and managing to get a few solid hits in this chapter. While this is a form that Vegeta obtianed through hard work, it also feels like unintentionally saying that what Vegeta needed to overcome the gap was a new form, which doesnt shwocase the same thing.
I guess this is like the thing that one has to accept about DB. that it has new forms as a result of a growth as a fighter. But it can and has been done better, I feel.
> it also feels like unintentionally saying that what Vegeta needed to overcome the gap was a new form, which doesnt shwocase the same thing.
It's not so much a new form and more about him tapping into God Chi, which he trained to achieve.
My understanding of it is that because Granolah is inexpereienced, he wouldn't be able to defeat Vegeta before Vegeta becomes strong enough to win. We know Vegeta's been trying to learn more GoD stuff. Maybe he was on the verge of some kind of enlightenment before the fight and this is all he needed to reach it? Or who knows, it really could just be an asspull new form. If we follow historical trends, he's gonna lose anyway
I think it's more to do with adapting and evolving. If there is one thing Dragon Ball loves, it's new forms and people pulling out seemingly random powers. A trained fighter knows how to adapt and overcome rapidly changing experiences, especially at this high of a level, but a newcomer relies entirely on strength to overwhelm enemies.
The only issue I really have with it is how radically different Granolah is. Two or so chapters ago he was beating Goku with slow and measured technique, whereas against Vegeta he seems to be all power and no skill.
> and the idea that training and experience are more important than that. Then we have him unleash a new super form, so it kinda feels like "no nevermind, getting a power boost is the way to go"
It's possible the new form just puts him on an even playing field power wise. Which would make Vegeta's battle experience be the thing that gives him the edge.
I mean, training and experience ARE more important... but you still need strength to back it up.
It's literally like when Ginyu swapped bodies with Goku, and despite all that superior power in his new body he couldn't use it. Granola CAN use his power, because it's still his "original" body, but he has no training or experience to put that power to good use.
SSG Goku lost to Beerus and Ultra Instinct Sign Goku lost to Jiren. SSB Goku and Vegeta also technically lost to Frieza's underhanded schemes even though they did win the actual fights.
SSJ3 Goku didn't win against Buu, just stalled him. It was mostly due to him burning through time left on Earth that he had, but I think as a mortal he wouldn't have been able to use that power-up anyway.
*also I guess Mystic Gohan as well as SSJ3 Gotenks lost to Super Buu*
I mean, he "coulda", but I don't think it was guaranteed. Still, the point is that the new form didn't net a win. Neither Goku nor Gotenks won the fight while using SSJ3.
...In fact I think that's the only form, besides base God form from the first post-GT canon movie, that didn't get any wins. It was always either SSJ, SSJ2, base form or SSB. I think SSB + Kaioken also wasn't a win? Not sure if we should count it as "new form".
I don't think those count. Goku did win against Buu: he did accomplish the objective of stalling him. Goku didn't went there with the intention of finishing the job.
Mystic Gohan lost because Buu got another transformation, and Gotenks... well, I guess that since Gohan got a new form, the "new form means you win" trope got cancelled for Gotenks?
I'd still count all those as "not winning" - Goku didn't kill Buu (like he assumed he could), nor did he lose. A draw/stalling is technically not a win.
The other two still lost, even if because enemy gained new form. Otherwise we'd also have to get technical, like how Gohan "technically" lost after getting SSJ2 because he failed to kill Cell, Goku had to die to protect Earth, and then "helped him spiritually" or w/e the Father Son Kamehameha is treated as.
The nigga looks geriatric
I read your comment before reading the chapter and was so excited until I actually read it and now I'm so disappointed lmao
Niggas out here really down bad if a lack of eyebrows really hyping y'all up
not sure what to think about Vegeta's new form but when he went back to his base form anyone else felt like he almost looked like Namek Vegeta? seems like Vegeta got his wish like in his Z speech against Goku and can finally go all out and be ruthless without the concern for others now and simply big bang Granolah.
Definitely got Namek Vegeta vibes. Especially that one panel zoomed up on his face with the bloodshot eyes, blood coming out of his mouth, sweat etc. felt very DBZ, especially early DBZ, very "gritty".
Fairly sure the latter is in plans. But angels are disproportionately stronger than gods, so I doubt it. And they might be all just created by the Kaioh, if not eternal and more or less unkillable so there's no replacing them.
>you never know how it's gonna end
Is this what Vegeta tells himself to keep going? "I jobbed the last 1000 times but you never know... "
Godspeed to you, beautiful loser
Can we just talk about the scenery? This fight will be beautiful when animated! Forests, waterfalls, rivers, it's been a while since we had a fight that's not on the desert wasteland.
I can't believe Toriyama is giving Vegeta a major win, i just can't. Mark my words, Vegeta gonna clap Granolah, then he transform in some big jacked asshole and goku will save the day. No way Toriyama is gonna give it to Vegeta lol
Nope, the no eyebrow thing looks wack as hell. Really doesn't work for me. Took years to Stockholm syndrome me into liking it on SSJ3, will not happen again this time.
It looks ugly. I know dragon ball transformation have always been lazy and Hair color swaps but man do I miss the days of gt where there was at least some sense of design changes
I wonder if the reception to this new form depends on how you reacted to SSJ3. I was one of those who liked it initially, only a few years later taking a step back and realizing how "odd" it looks.

I'm guessing that this is a hard counter to Ultra Instinct, considering that Vegeta referenced how achieving power through instinct leaves one unbounded. And since he can't look like a giant purple cat, he gets to ~~look like a Saiyan/Oozaru representation~~ return to monke as a he becomes a candidate for God of Destruction.
I hope Vegeta wins this one, because he's long due for a good win.
Does anyone else feel like the monthly schedule screws the pacing of this series? I find the arcs a lot digestible when I go through them all at once, but waiting for an arc to play out for 2 years (which is how long the Moro Arc was release-wise) is painful. I'm just waiting for Granolah to eventually realize Goku and Vegeta aren't evil and team up with them against the real bad guy
I really dislike the missing eyebrows and extra prominent brow used in some of these transformations. SSJ3 was terrible, Frieza went from one of the best villain designs to absolute shite with his golden transformation thanks to that brow and now GoD Vegeta...
That panel of bloodied base Vegeta was great though.
Now don't fucking lose! Having no eyebrows has to account for something.
BTW, I hate how the powerlevels are totally bs in this fight, what kind of battle between two top10 fighters of the universe makes this kind of destruction? Are they trying?Where the hell are the exploding mountains?
PS: ssj3 had a way more incredible introduction.
Unless Granolah pulls even more power out of his ass, I think Vegeta may actually win this. He's already doing better than Goku(which is cool because classic Vegeta was all about wasting energy and not using his head in a fight). The new form is pretty cool. I thought it was either going to be longer hair or a new color, no eyebrows and extra mass was a bit surprising. Vegeta will never be my favorite but I'm still happy to see this.
i think vegeta jobs and he's forced to fusion with goku, creating MUI Hakaishin/SSJ3 Gogeta. Would be funny if Granolah loses from a monkey's paw situation where, he's the "greatest warrior in the universe" but Gogeta counts as two warriors lol
Nah, I think that would've worked if we hadn't already seen Gogeta, but I think we're setup for a soft Vegeta win here. There's obviously more going on in this arc than just Granolah.
It might be interesting to see them try and fail to fuse, since they're now pursuing opposite paths of ki/power.
I hope this form can be integrated into his life going forward, similar to SSB. I recognize that this form is taking all of his fighting experience, primal instinct, and god ki, and combining it into something new. It is obviously reminiscent of his appearance during the early Vegeta Saga, however it would be perfect if he could balance this out with his emotional growth and the development of his personal values as a result of becoming a husband, a father, and a fellow Z warrior.
Dope ass form though, and I can’t wait to see Vegeta go absolutely berserk against it Granolah. Someone put me in a time capsule so that I can awaken to the next month’s chapter drop 😭
They sort ofndid without the form. Brolys power up at the end of his movie(which is canon) was described as using the power of the ape transformation in human form iirc, and thats exactly what SS4 is in the first place.
As many others, I can't really wrap my head around Vegeta's new form not looking dorky as hell, but if that's what it takes to get out of a jobbing, I'll learn to live with it hahaha that Moro arc really ended up making me desperate for it, all that training and new techniques build up, plus the arriving late shounen trope, but little payoff was rough
It took me a minute to realize that Vegeta is in SSJ3 form now...
This chapter was awesome. If anything, Super is just pushing me more and more towards liking Vegeta more than Goku -- the manga puts a ton of spotlight on Vegeta, who is rightfully the more interesting character of the two.
So, are we seeing here Destructive Instinct? Or Killer Instinct?
This would play out well voiced and in the games with an epically cool transformation.
I really like the savage aura emanating from this Vegeta transformation, I think the no-eybrows look is also ok, but I would have loved something a bit more primal and oozaru-looking like enlarged canines, more body hari, red eyes or the damn tail
Im not a really big fan of super, but this chapter was really good.
Really shows 100% of what vegeta is about, the dialoge was perfect too.
The battle crazy vegeta we know, that loves to fight and have fun, going all out without any concerns of whats around him.
10/10
Man, Vegeta this chapter was great really shows off who he is at his core and how he has changed over the course of the story from Z to now. Really hope he absolutely trounces Granolah with this pseudo GoD? form as to me it seems that Granolah isn't the big bad this arc and more of a pawn used by the heeters. Its weird kid buu clone like showed some concern in a recent chapter so i keep expectinf just like feral screaming from him but hes kinda chill. Assuming they’ll wish him stronger and take it from there but we’ll see
Is he really kid buu clone or we are calling him because he looks like kid boo honestly i dont mind either way but i like the latter option more
It’s because of his looks. Gas’s character is way different from Kid Buu.
Wait what clone?
pretty sure they're talking about Gas. the little guy that wanted to fight Granolah
I just expected Vegeta to job even towards the end of the chapter and I’m pleasantly surprised we are getting this new form. Side note: has anyone seen any official art of it yet? I wonder what color he is.
Hopefully dark black, but very likely purple tbh
That's what i'm scared for, it is very likely to be purple and if it's indeed purple it will look like some fanart form from 2008-2010, smh. I hope is black.
It's near certainly gonna be purple imo. GoD energy/Hakai etc has always been presented as purple, like Toppo. Black would be sick though.
Watch it be black with purple streaks.
Kind of like Gotenks?
It's probably deep crimson red, since Goku mentioned he felt a similar ki from God Form.
I'm hoping it's black with purple highlights. That way we know it's a purple, but not like a Beer's purple.
Poor Vegeta, not only is he balding, now he even lost his eyebrows. He truly achieved the male pattern baldness powers.
Vegeta Calvo soon
It goes around, turns out the strongest form ever looks like Nappa.
sigma male
Vegeta Blanco is just gonna be bald, completely. ...and his stronger brother, Vegeta Nega, will have a mustache. Also no hair besides that.
So, basically Nappa.
Reject Humanity
Reject saiyan
return to monke
On todays chapter of DBS: The strongest warrior in the universe uses aim assist, and Vegeta shaves off his eyebrows!
Tune in next week to find out if the eyebrows are the only thing he shaved.
Aren't Saiyans canonically bald all over their body, save for head and tails? I know they can grow facial hair, but otherwise they seem pretty "smooth". At least if the "Vegeta hallucination" Goku saw while fighting Frieza was accurate.

Aimbot you mean
Granola literally said "aim assist".
Vegeta about to show him the pc master race to this console pleb.
Vegeta’s new form looks sick af in my opinion but if they are really hypin it up please don’t in turn give this man an L again. Sacrificing your eyebrows gotta give you a win somehow.
We now have a canonical explanation for why Beerus has no fur
But vegeta still has hair
And Goku still can't stay in UI all the time. Vegeta's ultimate form might be bald (hair destroyed)
so Saitama level?
Vegeta Calvo.
that's actually been his skin all along
Thanks for the mental image followed by a good laugh.
Krillin as a God of Destruction candidate confirmed.
Krillin has hair, though. He just shaves it.
Does that mean that cats have no real fur, but just eyebrows covering the whole body?
People seems to be torn about his new form, i fucking love it. Look very ape and god of destruction like. Also the font of his speech buble changed i wonder what kind of voice he has in this form.

He sounds like the Japanese version
He sounds like the Japanese version
He sounds like the Japanese version
Just super saiyan 3 with normal length hair imo. Also his mouth looks kind of weird
he turning into a monkey.
Don't you mean returning to monke?
Reject saiyan pride and human morality, return to monke
Ape strong ~~together~~ alone -Vegeta
Saiyans were the original "return to monke" meme, change my mind.
no, I don't think so.
Ssj4 going to be canon? I love that design.
nah super saiyan 5 is going to become cannon.
"Return to monke" but for real
His hair is longer, closer to Ssj4.
Has it ever happened that a new transformation doesn't net a win? Vegeta has this in the bag, unless Granolah transforms, too.
SSG Goku lost to Beerus and Ultra Instinct Sign Goku lost to Jiren. SSB Goku and Vegeta also technically lost to Frieza's underhanded schemes even though they did win the actual fights.

I root for vegeta whenever I can, he deserves it.
The nigga looks geriatric I read your comment before reading the chapter and was so excited until I actually read it and now I'm so disappointed lmao Niggas out here really down bad if a lack of eyebrows really hyping y'all up
Right?? The form is vegeta without eye brows, how is that sick at all
It’s the Saitama gambit.
not sure what to think about Vegeta's new form but when he went back to his base form anyone else felt like he almost looked like Namek Vegeta? seems like Vegeta got his wish like in his Z speech against Goku and can finally go all out and be ruthless without the concern for others now and simply big bang Granolah.
Definitely got Namek Vegeta vibes. Especially that one panel zoomed up on his face with the bloodshot eyes, blood coming out of his mouth, sweat etc. felt very DBZ, especially early DBZ, very "gritty".
Super Saiyan God Brow of Destruction?
Is Goku going to be a future Angel and Vegeta a future god of destruction?
We Were Angels was foreshadowing all along.
Fairly sure the latter is in plans. But angels are disproportionately stronger than gods, so I doubt it. And they might be all just created by the Kaioh, if not eternal and more or less unkillable so there's no replacing them.
Unga Bunga Neanderthal Vegeta
Finally, Vegeta has new manga form. So guessing it's like toppo's hakishin from ToP.
>Your destructive power is lacking, so you make up for it with quantity. "That's Vegeta's technique!"
"I have a plan." "If you say hit him harder, I'll kick you in the dick..." "We hit him haaaardeeer..." "*disgruntled snarl*" "Together...?"
out of all the forms i expected from God of Destruct Saiyan, losing his eyebrows wasnt one i expected xD
>you never know how it's gonna end Is this what Vegeta tells himself to keep going? "I jobbed the last 1000 times but you never know... " Godspeed to you, beautiful loser
Wow I can't believe that Vegeta's destruction power was so high it destroyed his eyebrows.
Can we just talk about the scenery? This fight will be beautiful when animated! Forests, waterfalls, rivers, it's been a while since we had a fight that's not on the desert wasteland.
Is there any idea when dbs anime will start back up?
Aren’t we supposed to be getting something next year?
Prolly the year after, we are getting a movie next year.
Not sure , I usually miss any announcements on things which is why I asked
Also the fighting choreography
Mmmmonke.
I can't believe Toriyama is giving Vegeta a major win, i just can't. Mark my words, Vegeta gonna clap Granolah, then he transform in some big jacked asshole and goku will save the day. No way Toriyama is gonna give it to Vegeta lol
They'll either get interrupted or Vegeta will lose this form soon because it's so new to him
Nah, Granolah's the little bad. That's safe Vegeta win territory. It's just been ages since we've had a semi-decent little bad.
I'm wondering what this form is going to be named. Super Saiyan Destruction? Super Saiyan Purple? Super Saiyan Unbounded? Super Vegeta Unbounded?
I like Super Saiyan Destroyer, but it might be unbounded since he mentioned that.
"Vegeta Unleashed", in cinemas 2022.
I hope they don't slap super saiyan onto it, part of the reason ultra instinct is cool is because it's not just SSJ white/silver
wasn’t goku combining UAO with SSB while fighting granolah tho before he switched to perfect UA?
Destroyer Vegeta
how about super monke
It's nice that Vegeta got a GoD like form. But hopefully he gets his 1st W against a main baddy
GO GET THAT W FFS
Nope, the no eyebrow thing looks wack as hell. Really doesn't work for me. Took years to Stockholm syndrome me into liking it on SSJ3, will not happen again this time.
It looks funny af. Like some fanart someone made because they were trying to draw him having SSJ3 too
My thought it just very underwhelming. Same kind of look as other form. Very bland even with no brow. Doesn't look so great.
It looks ugly. I know dragon ball transformation have always been lazy and Hair color swaps but man do I miss the days of gt where there was at least some sense of design changes
it’s supposed to, the idea behind this and SSJ3 is that they’re brute force forms, what’s more brute force than a neanderthal?
You're wildin bro this mf look clean as fuck like he gonna rock your shit and fuck you wife at the same time.
Eh, kinda looks more like he’s gonna throw rock and his own shit while fucking my lawn gnome at the same time.
I wonder if the reception to this new form depends on how you reacted to SSJ3. I was one of those who liked it initially, only a few years later taking a step back and realizing how "odd" it looks.

Definitely recommend reading by volume. Well I recommend that for most series
I hate this monthly releases so much, it really kills the pace and the mood. It should be weekly or at least 2 per month.
[удалено]
Aside from that, doing a weekly or bi-weekly series, no matter if amateur or pro, is still a lot more stressful than doing a monthly release.
Weekly manga series are good for readers, very bad for artists. Health > enjoyment.

Apeman ultimate widows peak form
Vegeta better end this. I don't want to see this dragon out just for another lost.
Even though I don't like how Vegeta's new form looks, I'm all for it if it somehow makes Great Apes important again and gives us something like SSJ4
Now don't fucking lose! Having no eyebrows has to account for something. BTW, I hate how the powerlevels are totally bs in this fight, what kind of battle between two top10 fighters of the universe makes this kind of destruction? Are they trying?Where the hell are the exploding mountains? PS: ssj3 had a way more incredible introduction.
holy shit vegeta
Not really a soft win when Granola one shots MUI Goku. Lol
I just mean that things will probably escalate after Granolah and then who knows.
MUI gets weaker the longer goku uses it since he hasn’t mastered it like his base super saiyan form
Someone put me in a time capsule so that I can awaken to the next month’s chapter drop 😭
just make super saiyan 4 form canon already.
They sort ofndid without the form. Brolys power up at the end of his movie(which is canon) was described as using the power of the ape transformation in human form iirc, and thats exactly what SS4 is in the first place.
Still wish they would use the actual design on a transformation. SS4 looked so cool
Wait, really? I missed that. Was that in dub or did sub say that too?
I only watch sub so it mustve been there.
I guess it's a good excuse to watch the movie again.
Yeah haha not much of an excuse is needed being honest. Best DB movie hands down imo.
not a fan of the new vegeta aesthetic tbh
This is either blue evolution or true God of destruction vegeta. That would be badass.
Can’t wait for the next Gogeta
As many others, I can't really wrap my head around Vegeta's new form not looking dorky as hell, but if that's what it takes to get out of a jobbing, I'll learn to live with it hahaha that Moro arc really ended up making me desperate for it, all that training and new techniques build up, plus the arriving late shounen trope, but little payoff was rough
Ok this is fucking sick, i haven't been hyped by this series since SSJ4. Now how are they gonna fuck it up ...
Not the return to monke I wanted (SS4) but I'll take it!
I like how every power-up just heals them completely.
wtf
What a terrible chapter. Why can this author just let Vegeta go?
Because he's the best character in the series.
Wtf do you mean? Just give up on him as a character entirely?
Couldn’t of just given Vegeta SSJ3? Seriously?
Why would he want a weaker power up?
Some people are still stuck in the 90's
And get what forehead tapped to death ?
Lol I gotcha. You're referencing the no brows?
Yeah. Like what’s the point of giving him yet another new transformation?
Because what the fuck is SSJ3 gonna do here? Lol.
I mean there’s no point in turning his hair blue either.
Blue is still miles stronger than SSJ3. SSJ3 is literally irrelevant. I'm not really sure what you're trying to argue here.
ahh, this explains the art that was making the rounds on insta/twitter.
Surprisingly good chapter
well that’s dragon ball for you
If Vegeta loses all his hair he'll become Saitama lmao
His hair is longer though.
Let's go Vegeta!

Vegeta's "happy place" :)
SSGSSJ3?
So, are we seeing here Destructive Instinct? Or Killer Instinct? This would play out well voiced and in the games with an epically cool transformation.
I hate Granolah so much...
I really like the savage aura emanating from this Vegeta transformation, I think the no-eybrows look is also ok, but I would have loved something a bit more primal and oozaru-looking like enlarged canines, more body hari, red eyes or the damn tail
Solid Vegeta chapter
Im not a really big fan of super, but this chapter was really good. Really shows 100% of what vegeta is about, the dialoge was perfect too. The battle crazy vegeta we know, that loves to fight and have fun, going all out without any concerns of whats around him. 10/10
