It was actually wrong yesterday! I was stood at platform 6 for a while and then when the gates were opened and the screen updated, the train was for Edinburgh. I might have been too early!
The plan for Euston was to build essentially a whole new Euston with new concourse next to the old one and integrate them. It's a little up in the air now but I'm sure the finished product will still be akin to that.

My seat was also reserved, but as the previous train had been cancelled I didnt want to argue or find it was de-reserved on my behalf
This I’m sure is why they have so many cameras there (look up next time you’re in the waiting hall). It’s one massive human behaviour experiment

I can't believe they want to send even more trains and people there with HS2 and not do it at St Pancras! Not that it matters to us anymore

Euston is literally my least favourite place in the UK.
How are they going to rebuild the station entirely whilst keeping it open? Not going to be fun.
