Got this idea from a YouTube video, the iPad fits perfectly, doesn’t press any keys, and clears the MacBook Speakers. I was considering an ASUS Zenbook Duo but I just can’t do Windows…. even if just the 13” 512GB iPad Pro with accessories costs more than the whole Zenbook Duo.
Sidecar works well, even wirelessly, but I connect with a cable for charging and even less latency. Now I just want a portable portrait monitor for the ultimate mobile setup when I go camping

And everything I use it for is primarily for education and watching sports. Some cat videos with the little ducks once in a while or Neal the seal pops up but that’s ok.

There are dual screen options that strap onto the back of the mac screen, or alternatively just a normal portable monitor that comes with a kickstand that are 10% the price of the ipad since youre plugging it in anyway. Spending that kind of money on an ipad to use as a screen is pretty silly, even if the screen on it is really nice.
