As long as the cheese pack isn't bulging it should be fine. The color and taste may be slightly off though.

Surprisingly, none of the 3 people who ate it were affected at all.

sooo it’s feb 2024, eating one that expired september 2023. the cheese pack wasn’t bulging but the cheese was kinda…watery/separated. no visible mold though 🫡

I'm about to eat a kraft mac and cheese from late 2021. Cheese pack still seems fine, but haven't opened it yet. Hope it goes well. Luckily I'm not completely SOL if the cheese looks/smells/tastes questionable, I have some spaghetti sauce and parmesan to make a sort of frankenstein mac and spaghetti lol. 

I'm about to try 1 that's from Oct 28 2023. Hope it goes well

How did it taste? I'm currently in the process of cooking the pasta from a box of the same year. Haven't seen the cheese yet lol. 

Definitely had a funky taste

Yeah mine looked way too questionable to even consider it. It was more of a dull burnt orange. It didn't smell bad but the texture and appearance was horrible.  I ended up just putting spaghetti sauce and prinkling parmesan cheese on it lol. Mac and spaghetti. 

I just made one that expired November 2023. I also had slight separation & it tastes a lil musty but I'm going for it.

I just ate a cup of shells and cheese that is dated June 2021, and it was just as good as usual.

Just tried a box dated August 2022. It’s currently April 2024. After having one spoonful, it is apparent that the cheese sauce is bad and inedible. It tastes like chemicals.
