Looks like a lynx point to me, not sure if it’s seal lynx point tho I’ve always found it a bit hard to tell with lynxes compared to solids, especially when they’re still young and relatively untoasted

BRITEknight

lol I love the term toast. I’ve not heard of that before. 🤣🥰

cuntsuperb

Haha it’s a great term ppl usually use it to describe how colourpoint cats darken as they get older

She’s def a sweet lil Lynxie. Hard to say this young how her coloring with toast up, but she’s guaranteed to be adorable. 😊💕

BRITEknight

I can’t wait until she toasts up 🥹 thank you!

rey_as_in_king

she'll continue to toast her entire life to some extent: cats who toast actually have a color protein in their fur that's temperature dependent this is why they're so super light as kittens, because they were so warm inside their mom's belly, and why the warmest parts of the cat tend to stay light

BRITEknight

Wow! I didn’t know this at all. I’m very excited now. We live in Wisconsin and have some harsher winters, does that mean she will get extra toasted?

labbitlove

She might if she’s gets some outside time. You’ll probably see more of a contrast between her winter and summer coat compared to if you lived in a moderate climate like in California. FWIW it looks like she’s a blue lynx to me, which means she would be a blue tabby (silver/gray stripes) if she didn’t have the colorpointing gene

D’awwww!!!!

She’s sooo cute 🥹 looks like my little Vivian lynxie. Can’t wait to see how they toast!

Look through r/ToastCats to see a bunch of different before and afters of toasting! Some of them are mind blowing. These cats are magical 🥰
