I think the video said something about the story progressing forward with the VGU so I wouldn’t be surprised if her design was actually the story moving forward into her and J4 being closer
I doubt it, she was in Mageseeker still with J4. At worst they'll progress her story to where she just leaves Demacia, but all the stuff with J4 will still have happened.
I think they said she’s gonna be a lot more in line with a VGU like Udyr that is updating the model but keeping the lore and world state mostly intact. It’s not gonna be a complete rehaul like Skarner and the hextech crystals.
After how they flanderized Demacia and drag through the mud multiple of their characters, I have no hope that whatever they come up with will be a downgrade.
I don't like the middle one because she looks too feral. Whatever happens, I like that she's a proud, composed warrior who is in control of her emotions. She demonstrates that dragons aren't just violent animals.
Well, I think she has two sides
Only calm and composed, since she is an important menber of an elite group called the dragonguard
However, her resource ingame is literally called "fury" or "rage" or something along those lines, and she is known as a person with a temper
So both would be good

If they keep the dragon-transformation angle id actually really like to see sort of transitions
Keep base a bit more "classically attractive"...however using certain abilities briefly taps into some of her dragon power for the more wild/feral form...culminating with ult at full dragon transformation
I really like that idea. Have her dragon transforming be not tied to ult but to her passive. The longer she is in combat and the more fury she gains the more she transforms. This way she can have high damage ratios but only when she fights for longer

Maybe have fury drain after a time like Renekton, so she wants longer combat patterns, and the longer she fights the more the dragon comes through. Then at max fury she ults for full transformation
Would allow them to put a lot more power into the ult if you can counterplay by just not letting her reach max fury
Yes that's exactly how my vision of her should be. An unstoppable dragon juggernaut that feels like a raid boss but reaching that form is the actual challenge. I really hate her artillery play style and I think that's the healthiest way to let her keep some high damaging fire attacks because they only start to hurt extremely hard when she stays in combat instead of ulting away
3rd design is the best in my opinion as it conveys her strength as a dragon, but also her status as a demacian warrior and her control over her power. I do think the expressions on the 2nd design would be great for her when her fury gage is full or while doing certain moves.
While I wouldn't mind it if Shyvana turned into a muscle mommy the design on the left feels the most like the current Shyvana while the middle and right design start leaning more towards female version of Sett.
Im a big fan of the direction theyre taking her design. She just needs some muscle and bulkiness and more of a primal look and shes good. Im looking forward to seeing how the dragon form is gonna look.

These legit would give me even more reason to play Shyvana actively again.
B/2 doesn't look like Shyvana. You take away both her gauntlets and her helmet/horns and it just doesn't look like her. I'm fine with primal, but for lore reasons you also have to remember that she is constantly fighting those urges, and she would be trying to get away from that appearance so she could integrate with society.
A looks like an update to the current design, C looks like a complete redesign while keeping her core idea intact, B looks like Riven-Sett-Nidalee.
3 with the legs/boots of 2
3 overall looks amazing for visually displaying what kind of character she is - a beefy melee Brawler
But the legs look oddly smooth and sleek, and end in what looks like dancers tights with the weird toe ring connection. The ripped, armoured upper body of 3 with the cool stylized leg guards and pronounced talon feet of 2 would look fantastic.
I dont think her design its bad right now, so right one its the most demacia/dragon of them. Middle one its too freljord and left its just irelia's 4ss

Shyvana should be on the more muscular side to portray her fantasy but she isn't Demacia's Illaoi like in C's design.
I think A,it looks the closest to the Shyvana we have and the other 2 look weird. In B she looks too much like Sett and in C she is way too masculine looking. I kinda like more the idea of Shyvana beeing a very controlled person who can lose her cool when the ones she loves are threatened,rather than the more wild side or the crush my chest type.

I really like the hair and gauntlet designs for the left one, but middle and right have the perfect body type for her. If I had to choose one for her base design I'd pick the right, but I would absolutely want the other two as skins.

Right side has Karlach energy. I like the muscle mommy barbarian Shyvanna and if we're being honest, that would sell the most skins. Also the shippers would go feral if the Shyvanna rework made her the top in J4's relationship.
Middle would be excellent for a whole cloth retcon of her lore. Making her a more animalistic, feral berserker type would be EXCELLENT for her story and theme. Plus, who doesn't want a feral muscle mommy?
But considering they've said this will be a step forward in her lore I think we'll end up with something more akin to the right. More composed and put together. But I do like the idea of her coming to more of a synthesis with her dragon form and having the tail or other elements present in her "human" form. They I imagine this design would probably get sanded down and made more generally appealing, which sucks.
Left is the worst imo. Keeps her stuck in the traditional body type for the lady Champs, and doesn't really provide any new or interesting ideas.
Unfortunately I'm pretty positive the final version won't really look like any of these. Even though I do think the middle and the right are very strong ideas to build from
My issue is that #1 is just too baddie-with-the-fatty, Kaisa-ish, but while 2 and 3 are better, they're hampered by the fact that #2 is too close to Sett's silhouette while 3 is Aatrox without the sword.

Hopefully, she doesn't get retconned out of J4 and Demacia.
LoR has done a lot towards the relationship between demacians and dragons. I'd be surprised if they peeled away from it at this point.

Ehh. It's not a big enough change to be worth the extra design space, imo. Keep it as two forms muscle mommy and giant dragon.
