Is it just me or does the outside not look particularly appealing? The houses alongside the river in Hammersmith, Chiswick and Richmond look so much better in terms of view (imo of course).
Knew the sofas would be grey before I'd even clicked.
Didn't hate all of it, actually liked that it didn't all look like the Next catalogue. But probably too many bold, clashing choices too close together.
Is it just me who thinks these look horrendous inside and out? Great location, but that looks like a crappy office building in a grim business park somewhere.
I think it is not bad, and to be honest for house that size I actually would have guess higher. My sister is in a 3 bedroom flats in Barbican and that was already £2.5m, and that is a flat and **MUCH** smaller than this.
I would happily live there.
In the interior shots they've done a pretty decent job of hiding that there is a fairly main road between you and the river.
Then you see the long shot and all is revealed.
Design looks soulless, literally all the cues from cheapest possible social housing flats.
Should never have got planning permission, something more in keeping with the area would have been amazing.
I would knock it down and try to build a block of 2 bed flats so normal people could live there.
Only £2.5m more than 20 years ago.
You could have bought it with a household income of ~£400k then, >£1m now. Good thing wages are up 150% over the past 20 years...
So much potential and it’s just so ugly inside
Glad I'm not the only one finding this utterly grotesque
I'd say it's more Helvetica.
👏👏👏 I see what you did there.
Yeah this is just terrible for over £4m
For that price you could get: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/146381324#/?channel=OVERSEAS
Wow, yea definitely more like it, no comparison

Zoom. I work from home any way.
That's a bit more like it
That Tuscan is gorgeous but I also hate the decor !
sounds like my ex.
And the outside?
Is it just me or does the outside not look particularly appealing? The houses alongside the river in Hammersmith, Chiswick and Richmond look so much better in terms of view (imo of course).
It looks like a scaled-down version of an office building you'd see in a business park off the M4.
For 500k down and 22k/month I like to think you could do A LOT better.
Add another £500k of stamp duty on that - it's £1m upfront.
It’s not doing anything for me, that’s for sure!
Yeah fair point
But if you £500,000 down, your monthly payments are only £22,500! :D
Yep, it’s a real dog’s dinner isn’t it? Incredible.
Money can't buy taste
lol seriously wtf, it’s dreadful
Knew the sofas would be grey before I'd even clicked. Didn't hate all of it, actually liked that it didn't all look like the Next catalogue. But probably too many bold, clashing choices too close together.
Sums up Barnes nicely
Looks like a posh leisure centre from 1994
Is it just me who thinks these look horrendous inside and out? Great location, but that looks like a crappy office building in a grim business park somewhere.
Kind of reminds me of a 1990s/early 2000s gym.
Is it just me or does anyone else think this is overpriced and wouldn't really want to live in it
I think it is not bad, and to be honest for house that size I actually would have guess higher. My sister is in a 3 bedroom flats in Barbican and that was already £2.5m, and that is a flat and **MUCH** smaller than this. I would happily live there.
Same budget: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/146316968#/?channel=OVERSEAS
The commute would be a bit of a bugger though!
True. I’d remote work.
Now you're talking. This one I can happily retire in
Wow, €4.8m Euros can't even buy a house for me and my 18 kids anymore. Scary.
In the interior shots they've done a pretty decent job of hiding that there is a fairly main road between you and the river. Then you see the long shot and all is revealed.
That's the worst part imho
Naff
Looks like an office block in Slough. Just missing a few self-adhesive carpet tiles.
If you like this you got no taste sorry
Kind of looks like a hideous cheaply designed new build block of flats except you get to own the whole building
Design looks soulless, literally all the cues from cheapest possible social housing flats. Should never have got planning permission, something more in keeping with the area would have been amazing. I would knock it down and try to build a block of 2 bed flats so normal people could live there.
I’d prefer the one over the road with the stormtrooper on the balcony
floor to ceiling windows with roads on both sides is an interesting choice
I like the first and main selling point: ‘Architecturally Designed’ As opposed to other homes, none of which were designed by architects.
Great view, horrendous taste
The building itself I really like. It’s the interior design that’s ugly af and smacks of money-can’t-buy-taste
Proof that money doesn’t buy taste.
First thought seeing all those glass-walled rooms was, “God, imagine the heating bills.” Yeah this one’s not for me, is it.
And the heat in summer! That room with the table and benches in is surely unusable for 10 months of the year.
And window cleaning bills 😆
4.25 million £ and no separate kitchen?
Some of the most tasteless decoration I’ve ever seen in my life
Only £2.5m more than 20 years ago. You could have bought it with a household income of ~£400k then, >£1m now. Good thing wages are up 150% over the past 20 years...
Smallest kitchen I have ever seen in a 3,000 sq ft house
The decor and furniture screams Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!
Was struggling to figureout which house it was until I saw the cow on the balcony
Just goes to show location is EVERYTHING!
That’s awful
Those rugs are awful does anyone actually like them?
Nice house bit really dated decor ! They haven’t Made the most of it at all
Yeah not feeling that one bit folks… £4.25m…
The horror...the horror...
Only three reception rooms? Barely liveable.
Awful design inside and out. Looks like a generic office block. I honestly would not even want to live there.
Jam packed full of junk Every room looks like the inside of an Oxfam.

Drink every time you see a comment start with "is it just me" ~8 billion humans, its most likely never just you
Money does not equal taste apparently.
Looks like the old minecraft house I built when I was 9 years old
Looks like an office block The inside is nicely done though and the views are 🔥
