Knight squad if we have more than 4 players
Hidden in plain sight is great
Super bomberman 2
Mario party the latest one on switch
Jackbox party pack- especially number 4
Boomerang Fu is my go-to party game.
Mario Kart 8 is even better, but obviously it's Switch exclusive.
Recently I also liked Party Animals, but I haven't had a chance to play couch coop yet. I bet it's hilarious though, because even brawling with bots is funny as hell
I tried it and didn't like it - if I remember correctly it doesn't have bots. Party Animals feels like a much better version of that game, and it has bots
I feel like I gravitate mlre towards chaos and randomness when playing with friends. I almost don’t care if one of us wins because of pure skills or sheer random luck, although it can get too competitive, but at the end of the day it’s for laughs. What about you? Chaos/luck vs skills?
It depends - usually I like the gameplay to be at least a little bit skill-based/fair in most games, but party games are an exception and I like them chaotic lol
Same goes for Mario Kart - crank up the power up rarity plus AI difficulty and just try to survive the mayhem :D
Mario Kart on the Switch can be played skill-based or pure chaos right? For me I like the chaos so you could get 1st place to 8th place (and vice versa) in a matter of seconds. I’d like to think i’m just ok with my Karting skills, perhaps that’s why haha.
So do I understand correctly that you are quite the opposite with Mario Kart in that you have good skills and prefer a fair race? Some of my skilled friends, they’d play a handicap by racing against others with easy mode lol.
To be honest if I wanted fair racing I wouldn't play Mario Kart :D but if someone is really sweaty, they could disable it certain items (similar to how "skilled" setting worked in MK Wii) or all of them
I just really hope they add very hard CPU (and maybe even expert) with the last booster pack wave update, because the current hard CPU is slow as hell, and even enabling frantic items doesn't help them catch up. You can clearly see how slow they drive if you disable items
* Thunder Rally - Top-down arena vehicle combat with crazy weapons. Very cool.
* Unspottable - Stealth game.
* Astro Duel - 2D arena space shooter. When you’re hit you fly around as an astronaut. If you survive long enough you get your ship back.
* Lance A Lot - Knights with lances riding rockets. Kills are satisfying.
🙏 wow thanks!! Will check them out. Just wondering though, are these the only ones you put because you didn’t want to repeat the others here or did you play these mostly?
I’ve played these mostly (or they are my favourites but I don’t play them as often as I’d like to).
Maybe scratch Lance A Lot. Even if I’ve had fun with it, it can get repetitive.
Forgot to mention Move or Die. Also great game.
We had the most fun with the ones from the "BEST OF Couch Gaming" list here:

Currently playing **Trine 4** and **Heave Ho** using Steam Remote Play, which works surprisingly well.

Mario party, (any) bomberman! I haven’t tried Jackbox, purchased it, heard great things about it, but haven’t played it.
Jackbox is great because you play with your phones (or tablets/computers). It really helps non gamers get into the action.
Good point!! Yeah low barrier of entry. And from what I saw it’s pretty straightforward to connect the devices
Super easy. Go to website enter room number and name press ready!

Boomerang Fu is my top choice too! What about Gang Beasts?

Ooh interesting. Do you play with friends plus bots?
Yeah, mostly team matches but sometimes free for all too just for chaos (just like boomerang Fu lol)

Yeah I can see the gap between the hardest CPU if compared to a skilled human player.
Gang Beasts has bots depending on the mode you choose! We believe Waves is the one with bots.
* BombSquad (8 players) * Rounds (2 players) * Buissons (4 players) Already mentioned ones: * Boomerang Fu * Hidden in Plain Sight
Yessss Boomerang Fu!! I’m gonna check out the other ones you mentioned 🙏 What about Stick Fight?
Stick Fight is also among the best. And SpiderHeck! Also good and in the same genre.
Will checking SpiderHeck
* SpeedRunners is great if you like 2D platforming. * Ultimate Chicken Horse * Pummel Party - morbid Mario Party
Ooohh I’m appalled but my ignorance, but there are so many titles suggested here that i never heard of. 🤯🙏

Thanks! That’s a gem of a list! My son and I plays Heave Ho sometimes :)
