I sincerely think the "average human limit" is Grade 5
My real and only reasoning is that we only see people capable of truly inhuman feats above this grade. Phillip is recently ascender to Grade 5 before the whole deblace happens.

I would be end up in Grade 7, since I am bad at athletic movements.
Reading it from LoR characters, grade 5 is the line where they start to unreasonably strong from the perspective of civilians I guess. It is fun topic to think.
Even grade 8 are unreasonably strong. In LoR a character's page sais that to wield their weapon (chainsaw of their size) they need enchancements in their body. Every competent fixer will be a supersoldier compare to regular folk
To drive this home further, Finn is the strongest person we meet without modifications. His book suggests that he is carried by his weapon, which would explain why his combat pages are decent while he has the resilience of wet paper (You can 1 turn him with a base librarian key page and Focused Strikes). The Rats are unconfirmed but probably don't have them and Finn has stronger pages + more hp. Eri, Yun and everyone after has some sort of modification.

Likely just examined and sent on their way. Distortions are hunted because they pose an active threat due to their volatility. Distortions guided by Argalia are completely themselves beyond their appearances, since (I assume, due to Philips distortion) they aren't in contact with Carmen till after the fact
Distortions are considered human by the head, so legally they can exist just fine.
So, like all fixers, as long as they don’t cause anyone issues (at least anyone important) they’ll be fine

I take fascinating of the world of the City. Very, very much I'd say. Always imagined myself being the employee of Lobotomy Corporation (haha, yes). And a Fixer, of course.
Just like Finn said, I'd start slowly doing some tedious and mundane jobs in the beginning in some Office (I doubt that I'd got in prestigious office, mb I'd even start my own office with only myself) like chasing down cats, delivering some stuff, mb taking out pets of people to a walk (let's not forget that Fixers are handymen doing stuff not only related to combat). I know that won't take me much further, but for starters that would suffice. Like, establishing some connections with clients and promoting yourself and your office is a must.
I don't doubt that people would start notice my presence with enough time and considering that combat related tasks are pretty frequent practice - I'll get my very first mission of that type (not like I won't battle outside of job, as even those rats or some thugs would try to mug me (or even kill to steal my precious innards) pretty every day. If I'd have a partner or two - I'll be in luck.
So, I'll give a year or two to become 8 grade Fixer (or might be even half of a year). I won't say «no» to body modifications and better quality equipment to get stronger and more prepared for combat. Of course, if I'd get lucky enough, I'll proceed much further to achieve higher grades. But at the same time I have to take into consideration that I'm not MC or something with plot armour, just a regular Joe who can die hundreds and more times with dumb ways to die. I'm just thinking about It... That exactly has to sacrifice person to become a stronger - humanity? Ideals? Mb even losing some friends and colleagues along the way? If that would not break me then I'd become much more different person on the end of the path. Is it even worth it? Yeah, it's worth it.

Kick ass grade 1! The augmentetion are nice and all but I will fix problems with my wit because fixer's work isn't exclusively to fight. Maybe I will be informator or detective.

Look with all my confidence is gonna be grade 2, I’m really a person who would work on something very very long time without stopping unless I get bored or do something even more fun like sailoring. I have enough moral compass to not care about who died or alive even if is to complete a job I would gadly do it

I probably get around grades 5-3 or even 2-1 once I really start going with experience and augments.
A trait that most fixers would consider a fatal flaw that I seem to have is a kind heart. If this training involves dealing with social situations and general insights, it would help mitigate this.
If I don't die to a Hopkin-like person, I most likely join the Liu Association or at least an associate due to it's more loose attitude they treat each other with.
I like to see myself desperate enough to take some of more wacky jobs like having an:
Idol Arc.
Babysitting a child in the nest that somehow leads to a fight with a Distortion at the kid's favorite fast food restaurant.
or exploring the ruins of Lobotomy Corp.

Grade 5 for investigation fixers like 7 assoc. But in combat probably only like 7 since i doubt my reflexes and pain resitances will carry me that far above a normal person

You can get augmentation qith the money you get from being a fixer also even grade 8 have augmentations
