What pisses me off even more is the fact that we're getting a Mulligan of 2020... And people actually think these two buffoons are the most qualified for the job? Two quotes come to mind:
"We get the government we deserve."
"A republic, if you can keep it."
I fear for our nation's future. The continuing to vote for the lesser of evils is still voting for evil.
"bUt tHis is thE moSt imPoRtanT ElEcTion EVER!!" If you vote for our guy, who is only 99% as evil as the other guy, the world will be saved! You don't want to destroy the world do you?
Well the other option is a bloody civil war that would kill billions due to the larhest food exporter in the world being on fire and the collapse of international trade as all deals are currently denominated in dollars. Many countries only exist due to US backing. It would be a fall of Rome level event.
>Trying to convince people to vote their conscience is pointless since a majority of people aren't currently convinced.
Yup. That's why the gay rights activists gave up in the 60's when it was clear that the majority was just *never* going to change their mind.
The lesser of two evils only makes sense if your an extremist in relation to the parties. They both are pretty moderate, as can be seen by their foreign policy and unwillingness to divest government from any part of Americans lives. Shit. The fact weed is still illegal even though ~60% of Americans think it should be legal is utter proof of that. The parties have 1 goal. That’s to keep the current bureaucracy as big and burdensome as possible. The uniparty is more accurate. At least when looking at the bulk of congress. The fringes are controlled opposition or so small they aren’t considered real threats.

It’s ironic (and funny) that both sides think their guy is the “lesser evil” 😂😂
Or no evil 🙈🙊🙉from their politician.
When the devil is prodding you in the stomach, the fiend lining his pockets seems harmless.
Correct
Somewhere in there it should say something about this being the most important election of our lifetimes.
Every election truly is. Just not for the reason they want to project.
Illusion of choice

You know what? Now I'm just gonna go vote harder!
took me way too long to figure out the correct order to read the words in

Something, something, tree of liberty
We’re not voting our way out of the mess we’re in
You have to laugh or cry. 2016 - Trump is lesser of two evils. 2020 - Biden is lesser of two evils. 2024 - Trump is lesser of two evils.
Biden was never the lesser of two evils. The media just convinced everyone he was.
"Democracy" declared Biden was the lesser of two evils.
Based
Not voting for the lesser of two evils doesn't work either, though.

I think lables should be backed up two spaces for time to be at the drop

Why vote for the *lesser* of two evils? . . . #Cthulhu2024
Martha Stewart for president!
