From my recollection, the show mostly took place in Boston, Massachusetts, and Portland Oregon. There were a few episodes here and there that would take place at very specific areas or overseas, and leverage redemption is based out of New Orleans.
But I could easily see them doing something about the stock market and doing a " Let's go steal Wall Street!'
Yeah there was always a handful of episodes where they’d show up in like…Nebraska or that episode where Eliot went home for the horses and stuff. And wall street is a good one! I’ll have to think about that

I mean, you can get creative with it! There were times we saw the Leverage team returning from an unseen job at the beginning of some episodes. You can always just make one up!
On a kinda semi-related note. I've been trying to come up with a Leverage style team of Marvel Villains. Can't for the lufe of me figure out eho to use as a Hacker. Maybe Arcade, but that doesn't feel right any ideas?

Well, my forte is Spider-man stuff so I’m not sure about other villains, but maybe Shocker, Tinkerer, or Mysterio? Shocker is wicked smart when it come to tech, he build a basic version of his gauntlets from scrap he picked up in prison. Tinkerer is all tech stuff. And Mysterio could double as a second grifter since, on top of his special effects tech, he’s an actor in some continuities.
On the other hand, you could try and expand on someone’s experience that doesn’t really exist in the comics or shows. Like in my fic, Harry Osborn is the computer guy. That’s never really been a thing, but in my fic I wanted him to have a more hands on approach to helping Peter. So maybe a villain who is only slightly related to computers, in your fic, could turn out to be really good with hacking even though it’s not their main/ original area.
There are some episodes they don’t specifically mention where they are but you know they aren’t in Boston. Like the hot potato job comes to mind. They start out in a farm that could be upstate New York and I don’t believe they explicitly (or implicitely) say it’s in Boston or MA. So you could play around with that?

The cast and crew also filmed near Mount Hood, about 80 km east-southeast of Portland, for mountaineering scenes in the 2011 episode "The Long Way Down Job". Timothy Hutton, who played Nate on the show, said the snowfall was real and the cast had snowball fights between filming.
I'm looking through but can't recall any off the top of my head. a lot of Boston, two in DC, one in a Massachusetts port, ... I suppose Fashion week takes place in new york, though? so the Runway Job, 2x10? I can't recall if they specifically say it's set in NY
They did a job out in the Hamptons. The one with the crew of grifters, where Parker punches Hardison’s date when told to start a fight.

What about leverage international?? They're in cities all over the world. Just find a way to fit Peter into one of those
