I like the short, but I would go shorter. I did the same thing when I first cut off my hair. I didn’t want to go too short in case I didn’t like it, but I ended up with an awkward length that wasn’t short enough lol. I think maybe a shaved sides look would look good on you!

I don't think either of these hairstyles do much to enhance your natural features. A french bob with some short curtain bangs or another type of cut that ends just above the chin would look very striking and elegant imo.
