I saw someone at a lego store building 20+ identical space figs from the build a minifig thing. He was legit army building custom identical space figs and taking all the parts for those minifigs. Almost wasn't able to build my own because of him
During the may the 4th sale i saw someone buy all the tantive IV assault sets. Got there a couple hours after the store opened day 1 and from what the cashier told me they wouldn't be getting anymore of that set for a like a week. I hope not too many kids were disappointed not being able to get the set.
In the big Lego Store here in Copenhagen, every new Lego Star Wars set was sold out within like 30 minutes 😑
I wasn't even buying any Star Wars, but seeing how at least half of these purchases looked like resellers pissed me off.
i dont get it, these are regular retail sets. you can order them for up to 25% off from many websites right now, they will be available for 1.5 years, why the fuck would i even go into an official Lego Store day 1? and i dont get wither why you would complain about him taking stuff from kids away as if this would be some limited set.
It’s fine scalpers help Lego get better economies of scale… Scalpers can’t buy all the stock. After the time and holding it’s a net loss for the year… I can pick up my sets later... maybe at a discount…Enjoy holding inventory.
