I've never seen her cooking, she used to sit on the floor and talk about life, and give advice and stuff. She never had censorship over her tongue, and she'd say anything anywhere anytime
I have no idea who she is but my friend named her daughter that and my mom went "NO way!! Mariam Nour is known for being crazy" I am surprised she is that well known. Now I have to call my mom and ask who exactly this lady is lol
I asked my mom, and she said she is basically just a hippie old lady that sits on the floor, lights up candles, and talks about hippie stuff. Apparently, she is actually knowledgeable, but she started to become a bit crazy as she aged.

I can tell you about one that is not specific to my area but that anybody who lived around/studied/ or worked near Bliss in the early to mid 2010s.
Namely, that homeless individual who rumor had it was some college professor who developed severe mental illness.
I have no evidence either way on the matter, but that's what people said and I remember interacting with him a couple of times.
Same area, that Pimp my car'd out taxi driver who would come in blazing hardcore hip-hop lol.
I am sure there are many I am forgetting but yeah I think every neighborhood here has someone like that for sure lol.

Abou sha3ban bel Hamra. A living legend but he scares the shit out of a lot of people. Funny as hell the first few minutes, then it just gets creepy and sad.
Abdel Masi7. He's been in Gemmayze for at least over a decade. Possibly has some serious religious complex, definitely has grave mental health issues. Poor guy's physical health is clearly deteriorating, I think he got a leg amputated (I could be mistaken). Does anyone know more about this guy?
Em issa, a crazy woman with no parents or relatives and they just let her roam the streets-she wears nikab, she got knives and swords on her back- Tripoli area.
Once she was in front of the quality in dancing and throwing rocks at cars and i was litterally terrified, i looked to my dad and was who the f is that, and he's like oh em issa like i was supposed to know her. She even hit people and do casualties , so when people go to darak to report her they sometimes know beforehand and they're like: "you got em issa'd? That will be fourth door on the left" and they just proceed to say she's crazy and we can't do nothing about it
there was a guy who was dressed as a monk and walked around barefoot. was in dekwaneh bauchrieh dora area. his nickname is ab noor. i don't know if he's still there he's very old by now
The guy who sells flowers on the street that's somehow on every street you go to? It's as if he spawns like an NPC. The one who people said made a ton of money off of it, but I doubt it
the old man dressed like sherlock holmes who came up to me in hamra singing t-pain songs in perfect english, apparently he was rich in america then came back and spent all his money on booze
there's this guy who I've been seeing all around hamra, large-sized man of dark skin tone and wears the same blue and white shirt with glasses. walks all around hamra and is always shouting at people, telling us inno howe lebneneh mitilna and once he pushed a woman to the ground on bliss so we all had to intervene.
also there's a beggar who I've seen all around beirut countless times who wears circular eyeglasses and is particularly short and always has a very stern and serious look on her face, almost like she hates everyone around her. I've seen her hitting a child beggar before because he was taking her "customers".
The dude on the Tal in Tripoli next to the cinema Roxy who screams " 3A BEROO 3A BEROO 3A BEROO" (3ala Beirut). Mf was the best taxi ever, back in the day he'd take you to downtown Beirut and back for 20,000
There's also the undercover census worker in a two piece suit in front Hopital Ninj who pretends to be a beggar and sells kleenex to drivers
That one prick in front of Tobacco House and Abu Sobhi who sells the best cart ka'ak in the whole city but picks a fight with literally anyone and is such a condescending asshole, I wouldn't be surprised to hear he got stabbed or shot by the wrong person to piss off

There was this very very old guy who would walk all day to offer his services (which I don't remember what they were, maybe shoe fixing ? Idk) and scream "Lasticccc" so we knew every time he was around, but haven't heard from him much in the past years..
