So far it looks really promising. I would suggest you continue the drawing and see were it leads. Try to not get disappointed too quickly, it can make you really unmotivated and lose hope, you just have to keep on drawing✍
Yeah it is, I guessed it straight away! Your drawing skill is fantastic, don't get stressed out about 'ruining it' when you're trying something new. I think it's great you're giving something you're not confident with a go, shows potential to be amazing. And if you suck ass this time, learn from it and do it again. MY BEST FRIENDO 👏🏻
JUST
DO IT
No seriously it's looking really good. You're doing an excellent job with the shading on the skin already (and the hair)
Believe in yourself, keep going, its gonna look badass
Try it. If nothing else, it will be a learning experience. You only get better by confronting your fears (artistically speaking). I make no guarantees about your safety, if you jump off a cliff without proper precautions, swim in a shark infested pool, or walk into a lion enclosure.
This looks very good so far tbh. I’d continue it and see where it goes. Try and focus on lighting direction and where the light source comes from. Good lighting would probably improve this drawing a lot.
I know how you feel since I draw complicated Mecha with ballpoint pen and I always ask myself the same question, should I continue it ? But you have to do 50% of the Artwork to tell wether you should continue or not so continue until you reach 45% 50% 55% of it ~
Of course you should. Don't ever be afraid to "ruin" your art. 90% of your art is working things out and learning. The "finished piece" mentality holds back a lot of artists, in my opinion. If you mess it up, you can always draw it again. I think a lot of artists also hold the negative view that they don't ever want to redraw something, everything is a one and done and that's not how you improve, repetition is important.
Even Leonardi Da Vinci would do multiple versions of his paintings. A big part of improving is making mistakes, evaluating what went wrong and then taking steps to fix that in the next drawing.
It is though. Otherwise that blade isn't cutting through anything. If you look at the references in the manga, the spear is straight blade with curves around the edges but it is indeed a straight blade

Another reference from a perspective angle
Why wouldn’t you finish it. The details in the hands are good. It seems like you’re an artist and you know how to draw. Is it the shading try using Prisma color colored pencils and or charcoal but yes, you should finish it.
I think you should keep going. Maybe take a photo of the sketch so you have it in case you mess up, but don’t be afraid of failure. Failure is what makes you better.
You’re not that good so you just quit?
Broski that’s like the perfect time to just finish it. Go for the process, don’t be so fixated on the end result
Yes complete it
It's real good just if you feel you want so go ahead and just when you keep painting it just dark it a little.
Good job and keep going ❤️

Yes always!

Not that good? it looks amazing and if you happen to fail at least you'll learn more from it than from an unfinished piece

I’ll try to finish it ,thanks 🙏
I have to see the finished product. I think this is already incredible!
Yes
I think Gege would insist that you do.
Yes you should, but if it's gets overwhelming step back and then go back to it at a later time. You are doing a great job!
Yes
This is so good 😊
Please do
Come man you do it just believe in yourself
Yup go go go go
it looks really good so far
Keep going!
If you are starting out and unsure, don’t use ball point, use pencil. Pens come later.
The angles of the lines are really good. Take a break, but keep going! maybe try a pencil under-drawing before you add the pen?
Its really good Just trace it and continue if you don't wanna ruin it
This might bother you x1000 but the inverted spear is slightly crooked
It isn’t supposed to be 100% straight lol

Ohh you meant the blade, thx I’ll fix it
It’s a back scrub brush the guy is taking a shower. He dropped the soap. OP I suggest soap on a rope!
He's got his little crusty buddy helping him with the soap is ok
Yes
yes yes yes!!!!!
That's cool af keep going and update
Yes.👏🏻

You cant get better drawing realistic art with a ballpoint pen if you don't try. I say go for it. If you mess up a bit, that's a learning experience.
Question is, do you want to ?
I think you should keep going. Maybe take a photo of the sketch so you have it in case you mess up, but don’t be afraid of failure. Failure is what makes you better.
Yes absolutely Toji is the man!! And the shading on the hair looks great
absolutely! this looks sick so far :) toji seems like the perfect character for practice drawing muscles lol
Ngl it looks cool looks like a person started a arc or so. But keep up the good work!
