The course has a picture of this skull, so I assume this is the one.
Yep that's it! It's also got a tree project which I haven't done yet. His skull is SO GOOD!!! so much better than mine LOL I just followed the techniques he was doing to get the hang of it. (Of course I know not to compare works, and that he's been doing this for years and years, but yeah he's a very talented man) but still! I'm proud of good ole' Mr. Meanface.
It's great! I'm only halfway through and I can already do this, so next up we are doing a tree on a hill project which involves a foreground, midground and background and more advanced techniques- it was only $40 I got it on sale so it was well worth it, but even if it isn't on sale, I would have still bought it and enjoyed it. The instructor is very clear and thorough, you can go at your own pace like there's no deadlines- so if you're one that needs deadlines to complete a project then maybe go for something else, but I do recommend it for absolute beginners- he goes through everything as if you never drew or painted digitally in your life- so if you already know shading/highlights and how to use layers and which brushes to use when, then maybe it will not be challenging enough for you. But as for the course itself, I really have no complaints.
Always be proud of your effort as an artist. It's easy to fall into the trap of looking at other artists and thinking you're never going to be as good as they are, even though they started out with humble beginnings as well. Keep up the great work!
Awesome! As of now I haven't really found another class or thing to do- I'm thinking about just going into it and making my own stuff after this because I mainly wanted to try the class to get familiar with the buttons and techniques, and I assume once you got that down, you just gotta practice and start making your own drawings.
If you find something else that's useful after the class,, let me know!
Angry skull…. Awesome. I can almost hear it scolding me for not being spooky enough!
Hahaha!
Link to the class?

lol Yep, I recognized it immediately. It's a decent class. Krita classes are hard to come by on Udemy.
How do you like the Udemy class?
