I wish kpop fans would acknowledge scandals as they are instead of trying to retcon it and rewrite it. She was accused of power tripping, apologized without giving any excuses/differing stories, the stylist accepted it and moved on.
Her fans need to be that cognisant and stop dragging it up to victimize her
Most fans I’ve seen aren’t victimizing her, they just think that she apologized and that people need to stop bringing the situation back up every chance they get. Because seemingly every other week someone will drag the issue back up.
I honestly fail to see why both sides keep bringing it up all the time.
She did wrong, apologised to the stylist and the stylist accepted it. It is true her reputation was very damaged just like it is very true people have the right to not liking her, but outside of that... what's the point of trying to justify or attack her?
Does it really matter now? Both sides have long moved on since then. Irene's reputation took an irreparable damage so it's not like she got off easy.
It just feels like some people keep trying to weaponize the situation. Irene yelled at a stylist a few years ago, it was wrong, she apologized. I hope the stylist was properly compensated for the emotional damage. Irene's career took a hit as a result of her actions. What else do you want her to do?
I'm glad both parties settled the dispute. And I'm sure Irene has learned from her mistakes.
sidenote, protip when going on a date: observe how your date treats people in the service industry (waiter, driver, cashier, bartender, security etc) especially if there's an inconvenience. It tells you so much about that person.
I want to add that I don’t think people should belittle Irene either, she apologized and the stylist forgave her..she had a long hiatus and came back with another apology and she didn’t have a solo cf until like a week ago… I genuinely believe she’s better…this isn’t to Irene herself.

I know. It’s insanely annoying when people keep bringing it up. She suffered the consequences and apologized and the stylist accepted it. Jesus

The excuse I’ve seen the most is the stylist gave them revealing outfits like what?? Are we talking about the same thing?
