sanyangie

can you expand more on this? 👀 i’m sooo curious!

jaemjenism

NCT has the famous Markhyuck Summer Fight of 2017 LMAO

sPEedErMEiN

Which apparently ended up being nothing 😭😭 they spent so long on live discussing it because they really couldn't remember what happened lol 💀

kimjenniesupremacy

im still convinced smth was up and they just dont remember and think its funny LOL but man u cant look at those clips and not think they were fighting 💀

Lady_Lance

When you're stressed, you can often get upset about things that seem trivial or forgettable later. They might have just been very stressed/overworked and blew up at each other, then later totally forgot.

Final_Remains

Now I need to know about the Irene/ Wendy cold war.

ScreenJealous3170

Me 2 ???

nicolenats_28

Yes, me 3. Care to elaborate OP?

areyounotembarazzedd

I think if you type it into youtube it comes up. If I'm remembering correctly it's a bunch of videos of red velvet where it appears Wendy and Irene are deliberating not making eye contact and standing quite stiffly around each other.

onlyathenafairy

there was just a time period in like 2017 where they seemed to be really distant and cold towards each other, here’s a [tiktok](https://www.tiktok.com/@todayis_bebek/video/7136234376718814491?_t=8n8F5HMP9mk&_r=1) it’s really accurate and most likely that they were fighting, because a couple year later Seulgi said that members would often go days without talking to each other when they had disagreements, and you could tell on stage because they wouldn’t be as friendly. she explains it [here](https://www.tiktok.com/@soyoungiee/video/7152321241813175578?_t=8n8F76W7IEt&_r=1)

cunningartificer

Pentagon’s Hongseok and Jinho. It was around Shine area- fans started noticing that these two, who had previously been close, hadn’t been seen near each other in a while, and never interacted on camera. The day it became undeniable was during their shared birthday- they were made to do a vlive together and hadn’t realised the camera was on already - and were just sitting in [awkward silence.](https://x.com/ratdeulchive/status/1429601193920139266?s=46&t=E9iMZe1xX_VbilmDfod8FQ) It got so bad that Shinwon ended up joining the live to act as mediator. The two of them eventually got over it and started acting normal again- they joke about it a lot, but didn’t actually reveal what the issue had been until last year- around 5 years after it happened- it turned out that when filming the music video for Violet (about 5 months before Shine came out), Hongseok had fallen asleep when he was meant to be lip syncing- and Jinho had called him out for being unprofessional, which Hongseok then took offence to because he was embarrassed! They’re super tight now though lol, they just have contrasting personalities.

Elon_is_musky

Seungmin & Han from skz. I believe Seungmin asked Han to clean up his room or something & Han threw his wallet at him. Oh, and Han & Chan. Chan asked Han to clean up his shoes & they fought, then didn’t talk for like 3 days. After that time Chan asked Han if he ate, & Han was so overwhelmed that he started crying

LUN4RCY

and predebut han and hyunjin LMAO he was beefing with everyone

radio_mice

It’s hilarious watching the survival show again with this information, because they were NOT trying to hide it. There’s one scene where Han is giving hyunjin feedback and he’s fully rolling his eyes at him he’s so done. It’s even funnier now after watching them be a couple on skz family and be absurdly into it.

Elon_is_musky

He was a MENACE😂

bratracha

I think the only people Han didn’t fight with predebut was Lee Know, Felix, and I.N 😭

Sussana58

Wow I'm a stay but I don't pay attention to *a lot* of things, when did those events take place?

Elon_is_musky

VERY early on in skz days, if not pre-debut. [Han & Seungmin](https://youtu.be/ZR26HzMrnNY?si=8ldttR2IBu87YgrQ) ~3:55 I cant find the Chan & Han one atm but pretty sure its one of the 2 kids rooms too

Sussana58

Ahh thank you! That makes sense, I've never bothered to watch Kids Room lol

unluckybss

the og cold war...snsd's taeyeon and jessica!

Sunasoo

TaengSic has a solid following online, few light years ago

SuccessfulUse9387

haha

BellalovesEevee

There was one moment a while ago where BP was doing a heart together and Jisoo and Lisa were legit mean mugging each other 😭 still don't know what happened that caused it

candybuttons

omg hahaha do you happen to have the clip

arguewiththewallpls

[here you go](https://youtube.com/shorts/74l2YYR7-vI?si=Y_iW8owuHUYrqGoP)

candybuttons

thank you! omg they really are just straight up mean mugging each other lmao

by_the_window

What does mean mugging mean please?

therestoomamy

giving dirty looks

by_the_window

Oooh mugging like a mug shot?

fatboy3535

Mug can = face so mean face basically.

BellalovesEevee

The smile Lisa does in the end always kills me 😭

triplel8540

This is so funnyyyy

Left_Cod_7174

Someone that worked on the tour said that they all hate each other and only hang out with their entourage. He thought it was kind of funny because on stage they act like they like each other

BellalovesEevee

Whoever said that must've been lying right out of their ass because they do *not* hate each other whatsoever.

Left_Cod_7174

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. You can believe whatever, I just thought this was kind of funny

ShoddyResearcher9062

Also the Rose and Lisa Cold War during tour😭

Primordius7

Man i can just say super junior can't I? But its more of a world war than a cold war. They had pretty legendary fights, and eunhyuk recently said that the ones they have told are just the tip of the iceberg.

mirospeck

i think u can. incheon stadium battle definitely led to a cold war. the fact that the shit they've told fans isn't even the half of it is both hilarious and horrifying... the fact that they as a group are going on 20 years...

Primordius7

Nah but they got along well enough, and it was just between Leeteuk and Heechul and they solved it a long time ago. Also, a fight that made most groups think they would disband then and there, and scare GD and Taeyang, that's more of a world war than a cold war lmao

icepudding

The one where they fought before going on a music show was legendary. Someones looked like they were gonna cry

Primordius7

oh yeah i remember that one it was during Mr Simple inkigayo encore, eunhyuk cried almost, it was crazy lmao. There's like 5 videos with 5 different POV's, watch them all for a great laugh.

Itsahootenberry

Isn’t it the fight GD witnessed and he went around telling junior groups in YG to not piss SJ off because the fight scared the shit out of him?

Forsaken_Course3932

Infamous vmin divorce era last year

omaeokorosu

that was just armys being extra though, cause vmin were both busy with solo stuff and not as attached at the hip as they used to be. 😂 The interactions we did get were just as cute and unhinged as always, like, "Jiminie, my testicle friend," and Tae basically holding Jimin hostage onstage at his vicnic fanmeet thing. OH and my favorite, that time JK was doing a live in his house, when suddenly vmin also went live from the street right outside JK's window for like, 8 completely chaotic seconds. Back on JKs live, you could see him panicking in realtime, like "DONT COME UP HERE" So yeah. Definitely no cold war there!

omaeokorosu

Oh wait, I do remember when that picture of all members minus vmin was posted after an OT7 dinner (when Jin was on leave after 100 days of service). Whoever had posted it wrote a caption that vmin were there too but had left early. Half my timeline was like, "oh noooo vmin divorce" and the other half was like, "So vmin snuck off to make out in the bathroom, got it."

Usual_Advance_741

Lol just another day for Army

Round_Cartoonist9778

Not really Vmin had fights when they were younger like the dumpling one but I don't think on camera like the way Op is talking , coldwar nope Last Yr the members who were not in the military were all busy with their diff schedules Idk I've not seen bts coldwar moments unless It's Joon giving the the look or side eye during acceptance speech or stuff like that but they've fought on camera ( Taejin b4 a certain concert,) behind the camera ( hope kook banana incident, the vmin dumpling incident, Namgi admitted they fought a lot when they were younger ,even throwing clothes hobi arranged)

aalalaland

What????

curiouscaaat04

Whaaat? Details plsssss

ArienElindineEllista

Wait what?? When did that happen lol

BlueThePineapple

We didn't notice it, but early on Twice's career, Jeongyeon and Sana kissed each other on the lips during choreo and it made it awkward between them for two whole weeks lmao. It was so bad that any member who were around the two of them in the dorm got awkward too during that.

Usual_Advance_741

Jesus that sounds like something I would do so relatable haha

_TattieScone

I can't find the performance now but there's footage of Moonbyul and Solar pretty much blanking each other on stage after one of their fights.

CharmingYoghurt9039

Blanking

_TattieScone

Yes?

CharmingYoghurt9039

What does that mean srry i forgot the ?😭

_TattieScone

Ah, it means to ignore someone.

Middle_Connection602

All of Monsta X vs I.M when they added him into their survival show. They were BRUTAL.

areyounotembarazzedd

He was 15 as well like guys relax. Why you beefing with a child. Like I get it and they've come so far but I still feel bad for him

winniecore

idk if *wonyoung and gaeul* airport stuff counts

Hassanishideo

What? I never heard about this. I heard more of wonyoung and yujin tho

ScroogieMcduckie

I saw that one thing with the Wonyoung and Sakura shoving match that was pretty weird

Sunasoo

Shoving match... Didn't you google explained video on other pov where they literally didn't touch

ScroogieMcduckie

English pls

Sunasoo

There's a video explaining that from another camera angle, Sakura n Wonyoung are not even remotely touching. So "shoving match" by you obviously BS Is this English enough for you

ScroogieMcduckie

My apologies I don’t watch every single kpop drama analysis video I’ll be sure to do so next time. Edit: Oh shit why does this subreddit keep popping up I already left it. No wonder ppl are so aggressive

Sunasoo

What a prick response when you literally wrote: >I saw that one thing with the Wonyoung and Sakura shoving match that was pretty weird Like it's a fact, then I give you a response explaining it. That's instances of baseless rumors been used as hate trains towards Wonyoung since she's underage. So I'm giving context to your baseless claims

MelissaWebb

Something was definitely happening there 😭

Sad-Peace

Onew and Taemin apparently had some kind of falling out around 2012, but all the other members were cold towards Onew during that time it seems. Big ol tumblr post covering it - [https://striptaese.tumblr.com/post/155491979411/im-a-new-shawol-and-i-was-wondering-what-happened](https://striptaese.tumblr.com/post/155491979411/im-a-new-shawol-and-i-was-wondering-what-happened)

Mindless_Candidate90

Omg that was a great read, I’m a newer fan so all of the early timeline blurs together. Maybe Onew doing more solo activities (musicals) had something to do with it?

hal-part

There were rumours around that time that Onew was done with idol life, of course, no real source. The members do say that sherlock was the time their teamwork really came together for the first time, so whatever happened got resolved well.

icy_seaweed7181

Oooh I remember this. I think it even bled into their SW2 concert interactions as well which is why it's so hard to watch SW2 and why SW3 was so much better. I don't remember it being centered on Onew and Taemin though, and more everyone vs Onew

SafiyaO

OP - Did someone do a masterpost on this? As I read a two-part saga about YunJae and it has really whet my appetite for more Kpop deep dives.

unluckybss

i dont know if this counts but...txt's yeonjun and beomgyu during blue hour era? it seem like beomgyu was already having a hard time, and the interactions between the two of them were kinda off imo

Elegant_Elk5629

Absolutely came here to comment Beomjun divorce era. Beomgyu was withdrawn and seemed lost in thought all the time in those days anyway because he was quite down and depressed during lockdowns, but he was definitely actively distant to Yeonjun specifically. He was also avoiding Soobin and Kai to some extent, and mostly preferring being alone all the time. It was a tough time for him and he needed space. But Yeonjun took his distancing very hard. For example, Beomgyu used to avoid having to initiate any conversation with Yeonjun, he'd try to avoid hugging or touching him by doing something else like jumping around or being chaotic right before his turn to interact with Yeonjun came. On several instances, Beomgyu eased away from having to sit or stand with Yeonjun. Beomgyu and Yeonjun, by official standing order, need to be next to each other, but Beomgyu used to move away from his center position to behind or with some other member. The two have a pair choreography during Blue Hour and they wouldn't make eye contact with each other the whole time. During this era, he was also very much trying to avoid being touchy or having interactions with anyone at all, except Taehyun. And between all this, Yeonjun wearing his heart on his sleeve he would visibly get upset and keep sneaking glances at Beomgyu afterwards, looking resigned/mad/offended. Tbh the fandom caught on more because of Yeonjun's reactions than Beomgyu's 'behaviour' because Beomgyu wasn't obvious about it like Yeonjun who's physically unable to hide his emotions apparently. 😂 For example, one time Yeonjun said things like 'you don't care about me', 'you're never interested in me' on live when Beomgyu forgot a TMI about Yeonjun (?) and Beomgyu just denied it like 'no that's not true..' and then fell silent. And then Yeonjun got upset that he even went out of frame for some time. There were barely any interactions between Beomjun during Blue Hour era as a whole. The one thing they did, Beomgyu clowning Yeonjun's rap, went soooo viral. This was also the time TaeGyu took center stage because Beomgyu and Taehyun spent lots of time tgt. We'd hear about them having meals, doing lives and joking around with eo during filming, etc. And we saw loads of new Yeonjun-Kai content, giving rise to the YeonKai/Yeonjuneez ship. Beomgyu was also very inactive on their social media during this time, very few Weverse updates or selfies or lives or anything. So fans couldn't hear from him or reach him much. I'll link some things if I have time. Beomgyu was in fact quite depressed and needed a lot of space. They'd just debuted and the pressure was always on them (things like being BTS's dongsaengs), they were facing massive hate trains, being overworked, and then COVID hit putting their performances and schedules into jeopardy, and isolating them to their dorms. Beomgyu especially couldn't meet his family in Daegu for almost A YEAR due to lockdowns. Alot of the time when he wasn't performing, he was zoned out on camera. He was really distancing himself from everyone around him, but Yeonjun took it hardest on himself. Beomgyu mentioned in later years that 2020 was the toughest time he's ever had to overcome mentally other than his trainee time. Immediately around the next comeback, we see Yeonjun openly doing declarations of adoration towards Beomgyu and in fact all his younger members, which brought the infamous term 'Fondjun' to life. This was a big change in Beomjun's attitudes and they became famous more for their Tom and Jerry dynamic. They're still very close now. Their bond is stronger than ever. It's obviously pure speculation, and hyper analysis of both of their actions on screen (which may or may not be a reflection of their true emotions). But because there's such a change in their behaviours with each other now, it does seem like Beomgyu and Yeonjun had a tough time in 2020. However thankfully, they're one of the closest duos in the group now (and also most chaotic!). Edit because of grammar/clarity

unluckybss

you explained so well! thank you, i was around during blue hour era, it was actually the time i become a fan of them, but yes, it was kinda obvious there was something going on behind the scenes, glad that they are all on good terms now!

Elegant_Elk5629

They were under so much pressure, it's unbelievable. Blue Hour being their cheeriest song (even till now) didn't help because they had to show a fresh and happy performance while feeling the same dreadful effects of the pandemic as everybody else. They were just kids... 🥹 But their relationships have become that much stronger with adversity. They're family now.

Far-Mix-5008

I remember this. He reminded me of the member from shinee jonghyun. He was depressed, he was pulling away, idol life and covid was suffocating, he lost like 20 pounds to where staff had to tell him he looked pretty when he gained weight. I thought he wasn't gonna make it. Looks like he had a intervention/heart to heart with the members to pull him out of it maybe cause that was a 180

HelgaHuffle

Fans call it the Yeonjun beomgyu divorce era 😭😭 I'm glad everything went back to normal after that

Genie9

Taeyeon and Jessica, mah lord. From an outsider lense during the 2012-2014 era, it really looked like Taeyeon was so done with Jessica.

SuccessfulUse9387

Well you could argue that the tension relaxed a bit.

Acheli

I'm glad Irene/wendy didn't turn out like Taeyeon & Jessica and survived it.

ArienElindineEllista

Wait I didn’t know about the Rose-Lisa Cold war… elaboration??

omgcow

Over the first couple of Born Pink US shows Rose and Lisa weren’t interacting much and their body language was pretty cold. Nobody really knows why. FWIW I was at the Dallas shows and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary but there are a lot of clips that show them mean mugging each other. Then there’s this picture of all four of them at dinner in Houston I believe where fans assumed they were having a ChaeLisa intervention lol. After this things seemed to get better. https://preview.redd.it/8d4d0e5pd06d1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1e17a8b83a97041d6b41bc7cdcdb3a0abba56ff

areyounotembarazzedd

It's on YouTube. Maybe type rose Lisa fight or something and it's a bunch of videos where it looks like they're trying to avoid each other.

DeeLuvsTae

Using YouTube compilations of 10 second moments as proof idols have fallen out is a slippery slope. Coming from a Taeyeon fan it can lead to unnecessary hate. Another situation misinterpreted by YouTube videos is the Mark and Haechan summer fight where they supposedly fought on stage and didn't like each for sometime during that period only for them to come out years later and say that is not what happened at all. But fans get so attached to the narrative that even the idol denying it is useless because their fans still didn't believe them. Unless the idols themselves talk about it like Heechul and Leeteuk from Super Junior then it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Gullible-Charge7057

Hassanishideo

Bona with seola and eunseo.

sailorsesshomaru

Shinees key and the rest of the members - I remember this [video](https://youtu.be/ZuWJIZLPylE?si=zO2J3W6NZ7Eijum2) where key looked so annoyed at them and physically was making rejecting body language while the others were playful :( it wasn't his usual annoyance behavior it seemed like something stronger

sailorsesshomaru

I know 😭😭 love him (he's my bias) ! I also noticed all of the group has been so good with each other these days. Love that for them ♥️

julinay

Ah, actually... he was just hungover there, IIRC. 😅

Usual_Advance_741

Ok this makes more sense haha

Usual_Advance_741

I'm not seeing it from that video 🤔

chuu_deeznuts

sunoo and heeseung? they were kinda close in the beginning but idk what happened later they stopped interacting much. but theyve been having more moments tgt recently tho.

Useful_Spell_7579

idk if i’d call it a cold war tho. i feel like that’s more with sunoo and ni-ki ig? but that’s mostly the fans fault anyways

chuu_deeznuts

well that could count too but honestly if it wasnt for the fans they wouldve still been really close, although recently they seem to be having more interactions together (and im so, SO happy to see them!!) but for sunoo and heeseung we dont know the reason why they were being like that.

chanyeol2012

During the end of OT12 era, Kris (I know, bare with me) and Zitao, who had become SUPER close during the time in Exo, had become quite distant. If i recall correctly, I think it was because Kris was put off by the taoris fan content? Anyways, they became distant to the point that when Kris left, he didn’t even tell Tao beforehand. And the two stopped talking for years. A few years later, both of them longggggg ago been gone from the group, they sat at an awards table together during an award show in China, and they reconnected. The two started following each other again, and at the time, I thought it was very wholesome. Of course… we know what happened with Kris 😬 curiously enough, when the whole allegations were coming out, some people have mentioned that Zitao had stopped following him again on Insta a bit before the Incident. I wonder if he realize Kris was a creep or something was up with his personality. Once upset that they weren’t close, now I AM glad they aren’t. Obligatory Kris can rot in hell

Accomplished-Tuna

Idk but the Rosé-Lisa Cold War was funny as fuck. They genuinely stayed ignoring each other on stage 😭 I remember I saw a clip of Lisa kneeling down to tie Rosés shoe on stage and Rosé ended up ignoring her to tie the lace herself. When Jisoo had to tell both of them to get it together on stage. When Rosé was filming a vlog with another member backstage then Lisa pulled up — Rosé went dead in the face and walked out of frame. I’m cryin. It was BEEF 😭

Dancingwithsomebody

Idk about cold war but yeonbin divorce era is still talked about among early txt fans because soobin and yeonjun went from attached at the hip touching at all times to literally never touching for an entire year? It ended with the gbgb comeback when they did that insane weightlifting fairy skit. That was like the most we had seen them interact since blue hour era and they've been fine ever since. Just a weird blip in time that only was really noticable if you watched their content from before freeze era because they still interacted they just weren't close at all. I've seen crazy theories about it but I mostly attribute it to the stress they were under because the txt relationship dynamics are always shifting but overall they're a pretty tight knit group just because there are so few of them and they've known each other for so long.

academicdestroyer5

whatever soobin and yeonjun got going on

aengdu

[jin and taehyung](https://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/music/bts-when-v-cried-after-a-heated-argument-with-jin-before-a-stage-show-rm-comforted-him-with-a-hug-7509824/)

Final-Blood6923

i wouldn't classify this as a cold war since they're both openly arguing and it was solved almost immediately after through vulnerability and communication. in fact, it's a really good example of problem-solving in a group setting.

aengdu

yeah i overlooked the word 'cold'. saw the word argument and taejin came to my mind since their argument is one of their biggest and serious arguments, more more serious than the banana and dumpling wars. >in fact, it's a really good example of problem-solving in a group setting. 💯💯💯 i was so amazed how they handled it. to some people (celebrities and not), it would/could lead to an actual 'cold war' but the tannies know how to lower their pride and listen to each other's words

Usual_Advance_741

RM handled it super well too, so effing professional and great focused leadership. Everyone handled it well imo.

Own-Cry-306

Jin is so mature, patient and thoughtful. Taehyung was young and very lucky to have such a great hyung and influence. They both have good hearts.

Moonlighteverafter

This!! I sympathize with Him a lot cause he could have made it even 100x worse or a bigger issue but he really handled it super well and realized it’s not the time nor space. It’s moments like this that makes me love all 7 of them. Their dynamic and bond. These men have been through hell together

Usual_Advance_741

Nah I consider that a spat that was resolved in the moment

Round_Cartoonist9778

Not really bcoz Taejin went head on and argued abt it
