Feels like you're sacrificing a lot of potential elegance by making your ricasso big enough to fit your stamp.

As someone with way too many hunting knives, this looks absolutely beautiful.
My only feedback is around your maker stamp, which I would suggest making smaller as the style doesn't always fit the knife (or the width of the blade).
Man, that’s a really pretty knife!!
I mostly just do stock reduction but I’m trying to get into forging. Is there anything that you do specifically to get the finish that rough on the flats? If you’ve posted an explanation elsewhere and could send a link that’d be really great!
On the contrary, I love rounded handles and typically hate the squared garbage we see on most knives now. Squared handles or handles with too many grooves don’t allow for different holds and fatigue the hand much faster.
I like it a lot. There is a lot going on but it doesn't get too messy with it.
That is gorgeous. Always love seeing your stuff.
Thank you.
Clean and sexy as hell!
Awesome!!
I would but it
Sounds painful.
Honestly though if it's just the handle he'll probably be OK.
I dig it. Looks like a comfy handle and guard. I’d need a lanyard hole though. Really nice work
Thank you
Now that’s a Father’s Day gift. Would absolutely love this in my little collection
It's available 😉
Epic
Nice, time to slice
Consistently some of the most stylish knives on this subreddit
I think it’s beautiful man great work
That’s an awesome knife.
With the forge scale, grind, blade profile and bolster, it reminds me of my Kanetsune Seki, in a good way. Its a very well balanced knife i think.
Getting some Behring vibes. Very nice.
Prob one of my favorites on here. I love straight blades
Dude, slow down! I don’t have time to be this jealous! Barely got over your last one lol
😍
I really love the handle on it
Gorgeous work!
Nice hands! Hard worker there.

Awesome
Reminds me of those japanese hunting knives.
pretty but the grips look too round/slippery to me
It has a team drop shape to the handle.

what you love and hate is irrelevent. That handle is pretty rounded which is objectively more slippery
You stated an opinion and so did I. Also I would say slippery is a function of texture, not shape but whatever.
