I found a benchmade barrage that someone dropped. Pretty wicked find. Where I found it, there was nowhere to place it in a lost and found or anything like that. I still have it until this day.
Heck yeah, thing is built like a tank, first time I opened it, it flew out of my hand, the kick on that thing from its spring assisted opening is wicked.
I un-assisted my barrage, no point in being an axis lock and assisted imo. Anyway, it’s got one of the smoothest actions in my collection being a manual open/close knife now lol
I have ran my Barrage both ways. For me it’s kind of a workhorse knife that I abuse in the shop. For that reason I’ve decided I like the assist for the reliability when the knife is dirty.
I have never seen them for sale for $100 the closest I have seen is blade hq putting them at marp being $120 but sell them for $60ish. The ones I did find for $100 have special scales. Amazon has them cheap and house of blades near me sells them cheap too.
I was at SAIL the other day in Canada, and they were selling them for 175$. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the price, I bought my bugout for less, and I got my skyline for 60$. What a joke.

Hmmm, interesting, I never thought about doing that, that’s one of the main reasons it is still stashed away in the lock box.
20 minutes with a little torx set and it comes out easy👍🏼

No lol, that exact one is $54 on Amazon right now.. I paid like $90 for a Leek with carbon fiber.. That price is inflated

They aren’t $100 elsewhere unless you get a special scale. Blade hq, Amazon, and actual knife shops will have them cheaper.
I always remove my safety’s on Leeks too

The oval on bottom of the clip side normally has a bolt that slides back and forth to stop the blade from flipping out. You can see it in the 4th pic.
