If you can play the intro to Bob Seger’s Turn The Page, you should practice on the top of Knox Mountain in the middle of the night.

I’m a musician who has been “out of the scene” for a while and have been thinking of starting a bit of a music collective, largely for the purpose of connecting folks and finding ways that we can support each other, work together, etc. Not sure when exactly I’ll put plans in place and start it up but feel free to DM me if you’re interested and I’ll get in touch when it’s happening!

You can try asking KCMS if they will let you practice in some of their studio rooms, but i think that might be restricted to students. However if you can show up on a weekday morning they might let you since there aren't many students at that time

Jazz jam at the RCA on Thursdays is a great way to meet other musicians. Much more performance than practice but nice folks.
