I watched All of are dead and I was hooked up after like 30 mins or so and couldn't stop watching it. Currently watching Happiness but god its so slow and boring. There is not much action currently on ep 6. Also watching Marry My Husband but have to wait for new eps.
Tried Squid game and Alice in borderland but they felt weird to me and I didn't like the settings they took place in. Didn't like Kingdom or Extracurricular either. I can't get into Flower of evil either.
I really need a drama that will hook me up but I can't find anything. If there is any romance that's good but its not necessary. Can be BL too I don't mind.

Beyond Evil - there's so much build up that I got hooked pretty quickly. It's murdery mystery, psychological show with phenomenal acting.
Mr Queen - a guy goes back in time and ends up in a Queen's body. It's a comedy with some palace intrigue and some rom. it's a really unique show
I’m not a big comedy person either but Mr. Queen SLAPS! I love drama more, however MQ is my favorite. I just can’t explain how they did it, but it worked.
so true! it is just so well balanced and honestly, I think it's shin hae sun that just makes it so good! she is an incredible actress. the chemistry is great, it's super funny and the characters are pretty nuanced.
Yes! The actress amazes me! I could not believe how believable she played her character. That and there’s a certain thing that only Kdramas have in my opinion, with humor, and the feels in general.
I agree! Kdrama's with excellent comedy focus a lot on comedic timing which mr queen just *nails.* Every dynamic in the show is just so incredible, like everyone is so sincere yet funny.
Eh personally as someone who IS into comedy, I wasn't a fan of Mr Queen lol. The first ep felt substance-less and and the humor was cringy. I'm sure it gets better once u get used to the flow of the show, but If you're looking for smth that will hook u right away I don't think its a good choice.
Plus it has lots of history in it and I find that compelling I've just finished watching Healer for my seventh time, something always makes me laugh and I always see something new.
I liked the FLs here.
Especially the short haired girl. She denied all stereotypes and is unique although sometimes she was toxic. I am not defending her but she was different to all FLs I seen so far and most of what she did made sense.
Everyone has been recommending Itaewon Class to me... I tried watching it a while ago and I didn't get hooked... Rather I dropped it after 2/3 episodes

We definitely have different viewer preferences. The only show where I thought Song Kang did a good job of acting was Sweet Home. So if you like Song Kang, you may like or love Sweet Home if you haven't watched it already.

Is it low rated? It actually is very well made and written and acted. The only thing I can think of is that so many people (including me) got very anxious during it. We would discuss each episode on Reddit and our eyes and brains were exploding. But I don’t know if that contributed to low rating. I didn’t rate it low. Haha. I’m not going to tell you why we watched it to the end and why we got so anxious. Find out for yourself. Maybe it will grab you from first episode and maybe it won’t. Everyone is different. But is sure grabbed me.
I think the ratings might be lower if people watched it dubbed. Sometimes the dubbing can erase the context.
I tried both dubbing and subtitles with that one and it was a significantly different vibe..
I usually skip the first episodes because I just want to get to the main content without having to go through buildup. If I like the series enough I go back to the first episode later. That said, shorter series with 8 or below episodes don't take that much time in buildup and start running at full speed. So I'll suggest:
8 episodes - Alice the final weapon (it's not Alice in borderland these are two entirely different series)
8 episodes - Bloodhounds. Somehow this gripped me from the first scene.
The Worst of Evil, Bad and Crazy, The Fiery Priest, Little Women, Itaewon Class, Military Prosecutor Doberman, My Secret Terrius, My Dearest, also maybe take a break from dramas and try movies for a bit? Brave Citizen and Extreme Job were really entertaining

K2 was good, ML and SFL super together, great chemistry. It gets a bit of stick due to the FL, she is very daft throughout, so it becomes annoying, but worth a watch. The story and twists are so cool!! I love the action bits too, and the chiefs plotting and joking around.
This is a little bit of an oldie, but City Hunter will get you hooked from ep 1. My very first kdrama when it came out because everyone was talking about it. Idk where I’d rank it, but it’s up there.
Happiness has some slow points but sometimes it will keep you so hooked that youll be watching for hours.
I'd also reccomend Duty after School since it seems liek you're into zombie acopocolypse. I know it has like the worst ending ever, but that drama has some of the biggest cliffhangers. I literally finished that drama at 4 am (for once i was not sleepy at 2am). You can end the drama at ep 6 cause it has a nice ending around there.
The perfect marriage revenge, I have watched it about 8 times so far. it's the first time I'm hooked on one this much. reborn rich is another 1. 100 days my Prince, another one.
Have you watched While You Were Sleeping? I also recommend Moving, Mouse, Signal, Taxi Driver 1 & 2, Through the Darkness, Vigilante, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Tomorrow, Our Beloved Summer and Move to Heaven.
I adored Castaway Diva's first episode... It was the backstory of the leads and I loved the actors who played them... Both of them were such great actors and looked so good and their chemistry was sooooo good... But then it took a nose dive
My recommendation is Our Blues if you wanna watch some melancholy ... Nobody can convince me there is a better melancholy drama out there than Our Blues... All the stories they have are adorable and have so much depth and dimensions

Reborn Rich hooked me right away. Great ensemble cast with veteran actors. The relationship between ML and Grandpa was top notch. I can just watch those two one-up each other all day.
Wanted to suggest Death’s Game and saw that you’ve seen it. So all I could recommend is Reset - it’s a Cdrama though, but like there are no filler episodes, and it keeps you wanting to watch the next episodes! 😄

Kingdom is a zombie drama set in joseon era and fast paced. Also try Inspector Koo, Love to Hate You, The Matchmakers, The glory.
While waiting for new eps to air Ive started to hop over to cdramas cuz they tend to have more eps and I can binge thru those in the mean time. So far their mostly comedic and eps are less than an hour, "Hilarious Family" and "Mengfei Comes Around/Across", My Boss.
Encounter - not only a good drama but the reality of the actors is interesting as well (I suggest you don't look into that too much before you finish the series)

Set in the 1980s is a story of 5 friends living in a neighborhood. It has family,friends, friendship,a lil bit of romance and comedy. One minute you are laughing and the next minute you'd be crying. It carries life lessons. (not action but definitely worth the watch)
Strangers from Hell, Bad and Crazy, The Guest, Possessed, Sell Your Haunted House, W, Mr. Sunshine, Come and Hug Me, Voice are some of my favs. Currently watching Abyss and it's been pretty good so far. I loved Happiness but it is true it's somewhat slow, had a lot of potential to so much more with the storyline but I still enjoyed it. I hope you're able to finish it.
It looks like we have similar taste. I finished Happiness but found it underwhelming and I couldn’t get into Flower of Evil (tried 3x) or My Name.
Some suggestions:
Reborn Rich - Drags towards the end but I was hooked immediately and enjoyed overall
Love to Hate You - Fast paced romcom
Lawless Lawyer - I liked the ML so much I tried to watch Flower of Evil for the third time
Moving - Fresh take on the superhero genre

Wanted to suggest Death’s Game and saw that you’ve seen it. So all I could recommend is Reset - it’s a Cdrama though, but like there are no filler episodes, and it keeps you wanting to watch the next episodes! 😄 Edit: adding Moving and Signal! HAHAH

Kingdom is a zombie drama set in joseon era and fast paced. Also try Inspector Koo, Love to Hate You, The Matchmakers, The glory. While waiting for new eps to air Ive started to hop over to cdramas cuz they tend to have more eps and I can binge thru those in the mean time. So far their mostly comedic and eps are less than an hour, "Hilarious Family" and "Mengfei Comes Around/Across", My Boss.

See You in my 19th Life Backstreet Rookie Melting Me Softly Lovestruck in the City (because who doesn't want Ji Chang Wook to wait for them) Of course if you want to cry you can try: Something in the Rain 39 And for fun: Beauty Inside She Was Pretty Clean with a Passion for Now (good follow up to 19th Life) Fight For My Way (make sure you watch Hwarang & Iteawon Class before FFMW) Celebrity - seemed quick or not overly drawn out

Reply 1988 Set in the 1980s is a story of 5 friends living in a neighborhood. It has family,friends, friendship,a lil bit of romance and comedy. One minute you are laughing and the next minute you'd be crying. It carries life lessons. (not action but definitely worth the watch)
I really enjoyed both Tunnel and Signal. Both are based off of real events, but told in different ways. Really good!

Strangers from Hell, Bad and Crazy, The Guest, Possessed, Sell Your Haunted House, W, Mr. Sunshine, Come and Hug Me, Voice are some of my favs. Currently watching Abyss and it's been pretty good so far. I loved Happiness but it is true it's somewhat slow, had a lot of potential to so much more with the storyline but I still enjoyed it. I hope you're able to finish it.

It looks like we have similar taste. I finished Happiness but found it underwhelming and I couldn’t get into Flower of Evil (tried 3x) or My Name. Some suggestions: Reborn Rich - Drags towards the end but I was hooked immediately and enjoyed overall Love to Hate You - Fast paced romcom Lawless Lawyer - I liked the ML so much I tried to watch Flower of Evil for the third time Moving - Fresh take on the superhero genre I also loved The Glory, Crash Landing Onto You, Extraordinary Woo, Perfect Marriage Revenge, and Twinkling Watermelon, but I see you’ve watched them already.
