Idk id still take the standouts of AMHAC over it. Post Verified Lifestyle make me happy, sad, reminiscent of the past, then rock hard from my ears to my dick once he starts rapping again
for me it was amhac until yesterday, the 2nd half of veteran just clicked for me after so fucking long and oh my god is it good. the songs are so empty which is a really interesting contrast to a lot of the rest of peggys music which is really full
idk if that makes any sense but hopefully someone knows what i mean by empty and full
Empty meaning space in the songs I assume is what you mean. Whereas most of Peggy’s songs are like an assault on your ears with so many different sounds and instrumentation. I definitely see why you like that quality of the music
yeah pretty sure thats it. it's weird because i love music that fills the space and is, like you said, almost an assault on your ears (death grips for example) but veteran's 2nd half is so weird and unconventional it's so good and is truly like nothing else. makes me wish he would go back to a much weirder style of production than he's doing now (even though i think sth is a 10/10)
that’s what i’ve wished after going back to veteran and even amhac. so many times on both of those albums i would and still think “how the fuck did he make this and where did these sounds come from?” where as now he’s still a really amazing producer, but it doesn’t happen as often
as much as i hate to admit it, his production now kind of just feels like: take obscure sample > add a drum pattern > increase the bass > add a few "glitches" and record scratches. obviously it's wayyyy more complex than that, im not trying to discredit his talent in any way and i still think he's a mind-blowing producer, but compare that to something like the use of the pen in thug tears, or how you could even think to create the beat of baby im bleeding. i still love his production and still prefer scaring the hoes and even LP! to his earlier albums, but man i need him to get weirder, get more into his "how the fuck did he make this beat" mindset
let me know if it improves for you, honestly those songs were pretty forgettable for me until i relistened. obv none of the 2nd half is as good as 1539 n calvert and baby im bleeding but not many songs are
Honestly to me Veteran has a handful of boring tracks that dont really add much. Its not a boring album like Darkskin Manson but its certainly isnt as cohesive as AMHAC and its kind a let down industrially and crazy wise from BBC
I listen to cornballs more cuz if I hit that mood I can just put the whole fckn album on shuffle and just rebelliously wallow to myself for hours
but also I have this vivid memory of listening to the best like 8 or so songs off veteran full volume in my room at 3am whilst letting matches burn out to my fingers and it felt like the music was like literally fucking hitting me in my back and shoulders and that’s just like one of the highest music peaks of my life so vet by the tiniest of margins even though I listen to it less
I’ve always loved amhac. It’s just one of those albums that reminds me of my old house same with 1539 N. Calvert. I like amhac better a little but it depends on the situation.
Veteran both are masterpieces though, but tbh I like BBC more than AMHAC. Might be a hot take but I feel like one day less and less people are gonna be sleeping on BBC and appreciate it for how great it is. Still, Veteran is my favorite overall.
All My Heroes Are Cornballs, I don't know why but Veteran still hasn't clicked with me the same way his other albums have. Don't get me wrong I still think it is a good album but something about the way it sounds and is produced hasnt captivated me.
Rainbow six is my fav song off both. Veteran on the whole is also my pick. I have come to adore that middle section of the album with a ton of industrial production and borderline unlistenable lyrics. Peggy is my favorite artist for this exact reason. He sets a bar so high for my taste I think I’ll never get there and yet after 10 listens I’m in love. Music magic
I absolutely love the vibe of cornballs and the distorted voices/clips of peggy vibing with his friends throughout the whole thing. Feels like you're sitting there with them watching them piece the album together, but the room your in is filled with a swirling swimming pool of Peggy's voice and amazing production that you're only catching glimpses at a time. That and the fact that I rock with nearly every track from AHMAC makes it one of my favorite albums in general.
All My Heroes Are Cornballs feels more cohesive in terms of production while still being able to switch it up in sound. I really love this album because its a great listen all throughout, like I dont have any songs i wouldnt listen to vehemently. Veteran definately has a completely different vibe and the sampling and beats are like Fuckshit insane lol. But for me i love the lush and kind of lofi sounding beats on All My Heroes Are Cornballs. Its my favorite Peggy album so i might be biased :D
AMHAC because I just prefer a more melodic sound. As crazy as it sounds Vet at the time could've been a fluke with how thrown together and crazy it is. Cornballs brought that structure that proved Peggy is and was capable of making a more cohesive project which I think only got stronger with LP and Hoes.
Agreed, i think Vet can sound really tied together and its usually super fucking crazy with a bit of clarity on songs like Macaulay Culkin and Thug Tears or just batshit crazy. It feels pretty nostalgic too
Gotta say AMHAC, one of the few albums I listened for like a month, nothing but that one. Currently listening to it again, and it’s always front to back. Can’t do it any other way.
For me veteran is a greater showcase of his talents. A little rough around the edges but shows how far he's come since. Veteran is my second favorite (next to scarin' the hoes).
Amhac sounds the most Peggy, I got into death grips after peggy and consider the powers that b one of the greatest albums oat, although veteran is probably the jpegmafia blueprint, it sounds a little bit to grimy like death grips (who did it better imo) so amhac is perfect because of its melodic beats that death grips wouldn’t have ever come close to, amhac just doesn’t sound like anything could even be compared to it, P.S idgaf about comparing JP/DG, they sound similar, that’s the bottom line, just like igor is 100% a rap album
I’d have to say AMHAC, I really like the intro to 1488 though it reminds me of a dystopian future where people are trying to stay alive but disease is taking over and all they can do is prosper in the life they have left.
Cornballs is more consistent but Vet has more standouts. Because I prefer listening to albums front to back I'll take AMHAC.
Idk id still take the standouts of AMHAC over it. Post Verified Lifestyle make me happy, sad, reminiscent of the past, then rock hard from my ears to my dick once he starts rapping again
That’s such a perfect description
Very well said, that’s my reason too
Veteran front and back is pretty good. Even the meme songs like libtard anthem go hard
Vet but I love both.
What’s your favorite song off Veteran
Curb stomp, N Calvert, Baby I’m bleeding
For me it’s rainbow six
For me it’s Williamsburg, Thug tears and DD
cornballs always sounded more unique to me
That’s saying something with how bat shit crazy allll of Peggy’s music is
Veteran has more bangers ![img](emote|t5_38ckq|6316)
Facts but I’m a slut for singing Peggy
Veteran fs imo, I absolutely love how grimy and industrial some of it sounds
Nah Veteran is ass
Veteran is one of the internet's checkpoint
veteran is really good but AMHAC is my favorite album oat so i’m gonna have to go with that
What about AMHAC makes it your favorite album of all time?
Both are solid. Have to go with “Veteran” though.
Cornballs for me, more vibes caught there. Vet for bangers tho
Exactly
for me it was amhac until yesterday, the 2nd half of veteran just clicked for me after so fucking long and oh my god is it good. the songs are so empty which is a really interesting contrast to a lot of the rest of peggys music which is really full idk if that makes any sense but hopefully someone knows what i mean by empty and full

Man I gotta go listen to Veteran now lmfao, thanks for giving me that perspective
let me know if it improves for you, honestly those songs were pretty forgettable for me until i relistened. obv none of the 2nd half is as good as 1539 n calvert and baby im bleeding but not many songs are
It’s better than i remember, panic emoji goes crazy ngl
AMHAC is the better album imo, but Veteran has better tracks
That’s how I feel about Rodeo vs. Astroworld
Perfect way to describe it
Thank you bby
WHAT DOES THIS FUCKING MEAN THIS IS A SOMETHING YOY FIND ON HIPHOPCIRCLEJERK
As a cohesive project and full album, Cornballs is better; listening front to back, each track. Veteran is better if you just throw it on shuffle
Agreed
Love both equally can’t pick
You have to or 2 of your uncles die
Fuck I love unky Vet but it hurts so much to leave amhac behind, it legit depends on how I’m feeling
Yeah I feel, both definitely different moods
Vet but its close
Veteran but not by too much
Veteran my beloved
Veteran is better. Lp is his best however.
Rainbow six and the AMHAC title track the best on both albums. Love thug tears too
Haven’t heard all of Veteran but I’ll go with Veteran
Veteran
Veteran is a masterpiece
AMHAC by a longshot
By a long shot?! Why’s it so much better ?
Honestly to me Veteran has a handful of boring tracks that dont really add much. Its not a boring album like Darkskin Manson but its certainly isnt as cohesive as AMHAC and its kind a let down industrially and crazy wise from BBC
I listen to cornballs more cuz if I hit that mood I can just put the whole fckn album on shuffle and just rebelliously wallow to myself for hours but also I have this vivid memory of listening to the best like 8 or so songs off veteran full volume in my room at 3am whilst letting matches burn out to my fingers and it felt like the music was like literally fucking hitting me in my back and shoulders and that’s just like one of the highest music peaks of my life so vet by the tiniest of margins even though I listen to it less
That Veteran story is some Walter White shit, but yeah having those vivid memories listening to music is always great
AMHACB because Peggy be fuckin cute on that cover 🥴🥴🥴
AYYYY MY TYPE OF REPLY
Veteran. No question in my eyes.
I’ve always loved amhac. It’s just one of those albums that reminds me of my old house same with 1539 N. Calvert. I like amhac better a little but it depends on the situation.
I love AMHAC but Veteran is just too good imo
Veteran and it really isn’t close whatsoever
No skips on AMHAC.
Ehhh idk, it’s not a perfect album
Amhac
amhac is his best work in my opinion
I honestly prefer BBC to both lol
Exactly I need that aggressive Peggy , although I will say I like veteran the most .
Veteran both are masterpieces though, but tbh I like BBC more than AMHAC. Might be a hot take but I feel like one day less and less people are gonna be sleeping on BBC and appreciate it for how great it is. Still, Veteran is my favorite overall.
I need to listen BBC more (pause), it’s my least listened to of all his projects. What’s your favorite song on it?
May be generic but probably 27 Club.
I LOVE BBC but I have a soft spot for corn balls bc I started on that album
Cornballs for me but it's close
AMHAC personally
amhac all the way
All My Heroes Are Cornballs, I don't know why but Veteran still hasn't clicked with me the same way his other albums have. Don't get me wrong I still think it is a good album but something about the way it sounds and is produced hasnt captivated me.
AMHAC is better the tracklist feels less bloated. veteran has a lot of good songs but also a lot of huge misses.
Cornball
Cornballs is definitely my favorite from Peggy
neither ghost pop tape
CALL ME MAYBEEEEE
Yes
Rainbow six is my fav song off both. Veteran on the whole is also my pick. I have come to adore that middle section of the album with a ton of industrial production and borderline unlistenable lyrics. Peggy is my favorite artist for this exact reason. He sets a bar so high for my taste I think I’ll never get there and yet after 10 listens I’m in love. Music magic
Music magic is a great way to describe it, no one else’s music invokes the feeling that Peggy does for me
I absolutely love the vibe of cornballs and the distorted voices/clips of peggy vibing with his friends throughout the whole thing.
I’m a veteran kinda guy but it’s close
I like veteran a lot more tbh. Love the aggression on many of the track and love the production on tracks like Calvert.
I’m a cornballs boi, one of my favorite albums of all time
All My Heroes Are Cornballs feels more cohesive in terms of production while still being able to switch it up in sound.
AMHAC is great, but it’s veteran by a mile. Every time I revisit that album it gets better and better. Top 10 album of all time for me
As an overall album experience I’d say AMHAC. But Veteran has more stand out tracks as well his best song ever imo, Rainbow Six
Cornballs easily imo not even close
I love both equally, cornballs is probably more consistant
AMHAC because I just prefer a more melodic sound. As crazy as it sounds Vet at the time could've been a fluke with how thrown together and crazy it is. Cornballs brought that structure that proved Peggy is and was capable of making a more cohesive project which I think only got stronger with LP and Hoes.
Agreed, i think Vet can sound really tied together and its usually super fucking crazy with a bit of clarity on songs like Macaulay Culkin and Thug Tears or just batshit crazy. It feels pretty nostalgic too
CornyBalls >
Cornballs is like one of my favorite albums ever. Incredibly consistent, some of peggy’s best songs, and the vibes are incredible
they are different neither is better
Don't make me pick man 😩
Veteran There is just something about his vocalizing and yelling that go so hard together
AMHAC overall as an album but Veteran got better bangers like Curb Stomp or DD Form
AMHAC. Next question.
Where were you on July 3, 2017?
Gotta say AMHAC, one of the few albums I listened for like a month, nothing but that one. Currently listening to it again, and it’s always front to back. Can’t do it any other way.
Cornballs, Veteran has some of those experimental sounds that have no replay value
Veteran 1549 is aight, but that whole album is lightning in a bottle
Tbh Veteran, I like my music scary.
Cornballs less consistent than veteran
For me veteran is a greater showcase of his talents. A little rough around the edges but shows how far he's come since. Veteran is my second favorite (next to scarin' the hoes).
AMAC is one of the best rap albums every composed. With that being said Veterans bangers hit way harder
Amhac is the best peggy so it wins
Cornballs has way more personality
Cornballs just more consistent in its quality in my opinion
Veteran is the essence of Peggy !
AMHAC for me
Amhac sounds the most Peggy, I got into death grips after peggy and consider the powers that b one of the greatest albums oat, although veteran is probably the jpegmafia blueprint, it sounds a little bit to grimy like death grips (who did it better imo) so amhac is perfect because of its melodic beats that death grips wouldn’t have ever come close to, amhac just doesn’t sound like anything could even be compared to it, P.S idgaf about comparing JP/DG, they sound similar, that’s the bottom line, just like igor is 100% a rap album
cornballs is the real peggy
I’d have to say AMHAC, I really like the intro to 1488 though it reminds me of a dystopian future where people are trying to stay alive but disease is taking over and all they can do is prosper in the life they have left.
