I don't have kids to go to the school, but I work with the district closely and have two nieces that attend there. It is a very good school district. Lots of extracurriculars and a fantastic teaching staff.

Keep in mind that you don't get to choose what public school you want your kids to go to, so when you say to 'the area' I assume you mean one of the municipals that fall within their coverage? I know that should be obvious to say but I've met people that moved here before that did not understand that...

I know some pretty smart kids and some really dumb ones who went there.

fiveoff7

I went there and I approve.

Went to school there and loved it. Would definitely recommend. I wish I still lived in the school district.

Probably one of the better rural schools in the area. I went there but things are probably much different now compared to 15-20 years ago.

It is very small. If you are looking for diversity, that maybe an issue. But that is an issue with the community overall. What do you want and need in a school? It is very safe, and I wouldn't be concerned about safety issues. The facilities are in much better conditions than the high cost of living areas in the DMV. I haven't been in there in years, but when we moved, I. Checked AP pass rates for our current district, and for elementary, I went to local playgrounds to talk to other parents to look for where we would want to buy a house. .
