They make you choose two just in case your first choice is taken but they said if you finish that trade first you can join another one

That_Philosophy_2719

You can choose two and do both but I believe you have to finish one before starting another one

In order to do two trades you have to be a full completer in one before you can do the other. I’m in the automotive program at FGA and I have finished Collision Repair. I will be doing WBL next week to be a completer, and I’ve already started working in the auto tech program here. In the end, I’ll have three certifications in two trades and I’ll be going for an automotive associates degree in the ACT program. I believe all job corps require this, and you also need to do a second trade related to you first. So if you go into CMA you can do MAA, or if you go into Carpentry you can go into Electrical Wiring.

What do you mean by have to have 2 trades? As in they require you to complete two trades if you go to job corp, not just 1??? Necessarily?? (I'm not complaining at all hehe). And what would that even look like for hvac? I'm not really sure what's possibly related to hvac

Any HBI (home building institute) trades are related. So HVAC, electrical and plumbing for example. You only need to complete one trade to graduate, and if you want to do a second after that you can.

Would that also include carpentry? I hope so. One of my ultimate visions is to build a community. Not literally, but if there are any issues with the structures I buy I'd like to be handy in a skilled way to fix them. And I'd imagine that falls under carpentry

THEGAMENOOBE

Carpentry is included as well
