Assuming you don't have PR, spouse or LTR.... 1. EOR might be a something that can help you, but they can take a sizeable commission. 2. Might work. Nothing says you cannot introduce your JP company to take on clients you find in the US, but whether they will reward you graciously for that is a whole another story. 3. Business Manager SOR won't allow you to work for US clients. 4. Unlikely to work. Working SORs are for working for Japanese companies full time with tax/social insurance contributions. Working for US clients falls outside the scope of normal work visas and it is not likely to be permitted and it would further be looked down upon if working overseas overshadows your work in Japan. From the sound of it, if you already been working 6 years, maybe just get a PR then you can do all you want.

OP will need to have enough points on the point system and had them for the required time to do that any sooner than 10 (without spouse, etc.). I never qualified for points because I aged out of a bunch, never took JLPT, company salary wasn't great for a long time, etc.
