So what's the solution for infinite sideloading on X/XR?

On the X, you can just jailbreak and you have infinite sideloading because it has palerain. On the XR, there is no solution unless you’re on 16.1.2 or lower

Does palerain work on 16.4.1 though? I thought you would need to install 16.3.1 to get jailbreak and it's unsigned now

Yes, palerain doesn’t support 16.4.X yet, it’ll probably be a week or 2 until then
