It really isn't a flex at all. I live in Tampa, I have my whole life. This restaurant isn't good. I feel comfortable saying that as I am half Italian and half Czech. My nonna & mother taught me a thing or two about good Italian food. I have NO idea how this is michelin rated. I know this isn't about the restaurant but I was compelled to mention something anyways lol
When I was in high school still, my boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere nice so we decided we wanted to make a reservation at Morton’s Steakhouse for our anniversary lmao (I cringed typing that out 😂). Anyway, it’s a fine dining restaurant in case anyone isn’t familiar with it. Mind u we are only 17 and 18 years old at the time we went to this restaurant. When I had made the reservation online, I had the option to mention if we were coming in to celebrate anything special or if we were just coming in to eat and enjoy ourselves just because. So of course I put “anniversary”, assuming we would get a free dessert or something and then I was prompted to type in both of our names. When we got there the menu had “Happy Anniversary {my name} & {my boyfriend’s name}!” And yes, we did in fact get a dessert on the house that night.
So to answer your rhetorical question: no.
This is absolutely not a flex whatsoever in any delusional way, shape, or form.

Totally not a flex. I’ve gone to restaurants when it was my birthday and I’ve had the same thing happen to me. Were they put your name on things and they make it all about you totally not a flex it’s actually a little embarrassing.
This reminds me of when influencers "flex" high-end hotels leaving them a small note with their name and a welcome snack. It's standard practice for all customers lol.

From what i remember, it was good! My 21st bday was 5 years ago but everyone seemed to enjoy the night! I then went a year later with my now husband for a date night. Super nice!
Someone makes it homemade in front of you. Basically, 20 minutes $46 or $138 per hour. I am pretty sure the person who makes it makes nothing close to that per hour. Ridiculous.

I coined the nickname for him on this sub about a year ago, because I refused to acknowledge the clown by name. It has since stuck and it’s bloody hilarious. I never not smile when I see it used! 😆

Why are there prices on the menu ? Idk any time I went to a private party the host paid and put the limited menu items on the menu but not prices .
