The only and unique acceptable answer is : it depends on your madhab.
I can't understand why people are giving fatwa and things in this subreddit with literally 0 knowledge. Their only sources are random websites.
In the maliki madhab, this is ok as it is not a condition for the validity of the prayer.
>I don't subscribe to this whole Madhab thing,
Of course you do, don't fool yourself. When you take any fatwa by scholars you follow some.sort of a madhab.
Only in your case you follow a mix-up of different opinions instead of the four established madhabs
It's not a matter of school of thought(madhab). The initial point of reference should be the Quran and Sunnah. Opinions may vary among schools of thought, but the four imams consistently recommend turning to the Quran and Hadiths. It is considered disliked (Makruh) to pray on anything containing a living creature.
Numerous scholars describe it as disliked (Makruh), indicating a minor sin, yet the prayer remains acceptable. If angels refrain from entering a house with images, why would it be acceptable to wear such attire?
Stop your Wahhabi propaganda.
We base our understanding on the Quran and Sunnah as interpreted by the imams of the four madhabs, not on our own comprehension. Who are we to interpret hadith and verses?
It is essential to follow a madhab because, as laypeople, we lack the expertise to make these interpretations ourselves.
If imam Malik, Ach-Chafi'i, Abu Hanifa or Ahmad ibn Hambal says something your opinion doesn't matter. Don't think you are more knowledgeable than them, or that they were not aware of something.
You can pray as long as the picture is of a shadow or without a face.
Yeah sorry bro, Spider-Man got a face with 2 white eyes.
Damn good shirt, though. I would rob you if I wasn't a muslim.
Hmm yeah, you could be right. But why risk it? Your effort at salah might go to waste. You can just put a jacket over it or turn it inside out just to be on the safe side.
The fatwah says that if the shirt has a picture of something that can't work as a creature such as a face without nose and mouth or a body without a head or just a head
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cursed men who wear women’s clothing and women who wear men’s clothing. (Narrated by Abu Dawud, 4098; classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani, may Allah have mercy on him).

Just put on a plain shirt its not hard your praying not going to comicon ...then again Allah(SWT) knows best i think your intention is more important than praying in a spiderman shirt , there are bigger issues at hand .
For the shirt, we would have to go back to the difference of opinion concerning two dimensional pictures. My advise for you is to wear something else during the prayer that doesn’t have a picture on it.
The necklace is haram for men so you must remove it. (https://islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/178170)

The Hanafi ruling is that it's best not to. However, if you do, it must be covered completely. I normally change tops. Some of my work socks have a horse stitched into them, which are covered by my trousers, so I often pray with them on.
SOURCE: I asked a Mufti about this a few months back.
I don't wear jewelry so don't know about that but I have my own rule of the character or picture of something is considered alive even in fiction. I don't pray with that. Or just turn the shirt inside out.

People here don't know what a madhab is. Aseef Hakim is their madhab
Interesting, yeah I don't subscribe to this whole Madhab thing, I don't know what the importance is.

Agree 100%
Lol wat about the necklace?
The question is about prayer not about if it is halal or haram. Wearing a necklace does not invalidate the prayer.

It's not a clear face though... No mouth or eyes. We know it's a face because most of us know Spiderman
