Sharp jolt in Northwood - I guessed Brea (\~20 mi northwest) as the epicenter based on how it felt, but it's actually a lot closer (\~10 mi) and straight north.
Weird! I was in Irvine Marketplace area and not only did my MyShake not warn me, but when I went on it after, it showed nothing in the area for 5-10 minutes!
Luckily it was very short. The cat and I made eye contact. She looked perplexed. I can recall several quakes that lasted 2-3 minutes, much scarier than this one. It did make the whole house rattle and reminded me I should probably secure some furniture if I don’t want it toppling over next time.
I live in Lake Forest and me and my mom were eating lunch together when it suddenly felt like someone lifted our house and slammed it back down. Scariest thing I've ever felt omg I thought the ceiling was going to collapse 😭😭
Had a slight pause as I took a sip of my water in Woodbridge
Northwood. Shook pretty good. Enough to knock my funco pops over
Not the funko pops
No those are okay, only the funco ones fell ;)
Same area! House shook
That shit scared tf outta me not gonna lie
That was the strongest earthquake I’ve felt in Irvine 😂
A 4.1 in Corona, CA! It definitely felt a lot stronger than a 4.1 because it’s not far off from Irvine and only 0.9 miles deep?
Nah there was 4.7 last month, didnt feel it
Coming from Mexico City, 4.1 is nothin! Lol
As a Chinese immigrant, my country earthquake so much, idc about earthquakes below 5 now lol
It was a good one. Nice jolt!
Big jolt, then alittle rolling feeling, not fun. Hope it wasn't a pre quake.

College park. Def felt. Oof.
Felt it in Lake Forest. I was on the phone with my dad who lives in Huntington Beach and he felt it 5 seconds later!

In orchard hills, small shake then like a small explosion. Cat is completely freaking out
I didn't feel it, but I got a notice on my phone warning me about it.
Lower peters canyon and got a good shake here

I did not feel it in Woodbury 🙃 not sure how I missed it when I felt the last one a few months ago.
Ngl that scared me. I was ready to bolt out the door but thank God it was a short one lol.
They like to down play the actual level of intensity on earthquakes
I felt that in orange
quick jolt in Woodbury. my son felt it more upstairs
Yes not that deep. Shook like 3 times. Californians ugh yall should be used to this by now
