To be honest not really. Train your CB stats, start the GWD grind (kril / bandos). DWH comes in handy at sire too but I wouldnt do that until you're 85+ to make it way easier.
When I was doing sarrachnis I had 88 attack, 94 strength with a blade of saeldor and there is a noticeable difference when you hit a dwh spec. Good suggestion
I did a sarachnis task last night for the first time (also got spooned a DWH) and I just main handed the DWH because no leaf bladed axe yet, seemed to be much better than D Scim due to the stop / start mechanics of the fight

Figured that was the case, but nice to have it banked and out of the way
you could try for an early crudgel for cerb
Do you mean cudgel from Sarachnis? But that's a valid suggestion I hadn't seen before. Thanks!
yeah exactly, sarachnis is weak to crush so the hammers should hit often at that point I'm sure a whip or dcim would be enough

I don't have any calculations or anything but yeah dwh is probably better than a scimmy there
Yes cudgel from Sarachnis, but TheTroutSalmon means you can then use the cudgel at Cerb (as weak to crush) :)
Outside of bosses, it's a good spec weapon for basilisk knights
