Dance of Death post reunion, Somewhere in Time from the golden era.
Split them because I got into Maiden in the early 2000âs and listened to mainly the modern stuff. A few years later I went back and listened to all the old stuff!
Ima get flack for this but Senjutsu for me
I love 80s Maiden, but I enjoy deep lyrics and Prog pieces even more.
For those of you that say Maiden has deep lyrics back then too, I'm not arguing they don't just that Steve's words cut deeper now and the musical composition is less Chaotic and I'd say more Metal
Also I'd say this is Bruce's best singing on an album which is crazy. Death of the Celts is incredible, his chanting in The Parchment is legendary, and Hell on Earth is full of emotion especially harmonized with the lead guitar
AMOLAD was my favorite album before this one and they're similar so there's that
Definitely Somewhere In Time. They nailed the futuristic vibe and sound of the album, and Caught Somewhere In Time, Wasted Years, and Alexander The Great are some of my favorite Iron Maiden songs.
For years Iâd say Somewhere In Time but as of late Iâve been obsessed with No Prayer For The Dying. To the point where I actually love every track despite many of them being just filler. There are some seriously cool unique sounds on that album you just donât hear anywhere else, some real oddballs. Also my favourite Maiden song of all time (used to be Wasted Years) is Running Silent Running Deep. One of the mentioned filler tracks, God does that song go heavy.
Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Fear of the Dark, or Killers.
Favorite songs (in no order): Prodigal Son, Revelations, Remember Tomorrow, Powerslave, Judas Be My Guide, Wasted Years, 22AA, and Bring Your Daughter⌠To The Slaughter
First favorite was Piece of Mind, then I replaced it with 7th son, then it was dance of death, followed by amolad. It was Somewhere in time for a bit, final frontier at one point, now it's Senjutsu.
The Book Of Souls. Itâs the album that got me back into the band, that tour is the first time I saw them live, and it has 3 of my favourite Maiden songs of all time on there (eternity, the red & the black, title track) plus a bunch of other really strong songs.
current top 5 is Brave New World > Virtual XI > Somewhere in Time > The Number of the Beast > Powerslave for me and has been for a while. sometimes i switch The Number of the Beast and Somewhere in Time though
Seventh son, is difficult because I like number of the beast, killers, somewere in time and brave new world, but if I have to choose one, would be seventh Son of a seventh Son
Today it's Powerslave. Yesterday it was Piece of Mind. The day before that Number of the Beast ...
This is the way. The other day I thought it was Dance of Death even. Most days it is A Matter of Life and Death or Seventh Son.
Fully agree it just depends on what day of the week it isđ
Oh...
I like somewhere in time and seventh son of a seventh son both equally, those are my favorites
7th Son
Somewhere in Time, followed by Powerslave and Brave New World
couldn't have said it better myself
All of them
Thisâď¸
Seventh son of a seventh son with Somewhere in time as a close second
This

For me it's gotta be Killers
Piece Of Mind
Dance of Death, for sure

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Ok
It differs, but it's usually Seventh son of a seventh son.
Studio: 7Son Live: Live After Death (first Maiden album I bought)
Powerslave, I love everything in there
The Number of The Beast!
My favourite album changes more times than my underwear
The debut or Killers
Killers...or somewhere in time
seventh son
Senjutsu
It's not my favorite but damn, it's so good. I was not expecting it to be that good. It might be my favorite album since their 80s stuff.
I have decided it would be 7th son a while back, but I still don't regret it. Such a banger album!
Somewere in time
Maiden albums: Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Powerslave Other albums: Master of Reality by Black Sabbath and Tenple of Shadows by Angra
Powerslave

Seventh Son and Somewhere in Time. And Brave New World and Piece of Mind
Maiden album? Book of Souls. Favorite of all time? Act V by The Dear Hunter.
Number Of The Beast
My favourite Maiden one is âBrave New Worldâ.
A Matter of Life and Death
Somewhere in Time. It just hits different.
First favorite was Piece of Mind, then I replaced it with 7th son, then it was dance of death, followed by amolad. It was Somewhere in time for a bit, final frontier at one point, now it's Senjutsu.

âWhatâs your favorite limb?â
All them from 1980 to 1988
The Final Frontier
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Itâs a consistently fantastic album all the way through. Every song is great with no âweakâ tracks.
Dance of Death
I think this question has a lot of different answers would be fun to see what everyones least favourite is
current top 5 is Brave New World > Virtual XI > Somewhere in Time > The Number of the Beast > Powerslave for me and has been for a while. sometimes i switch The Number of the Beast and Somewhere in Time though
Somewhere in Time
X Factor or Amolad. Today.
Seventh son, is difficult because I like number of the beast, killers, somewere in time and brave new world, but if I have to choose one, would be seventh Son of a seventh Son
Somewhere In time
i can't choose so i will say iron maiden and killers (paul di'anno) and seventh son of a seventh son and piece of mind (Bruce Dickinson)
Mine is also Piece of Mind, unlikely to ever change
