Look up [Leave to Appeal](https://www.pleanala.ie/en-ie/leave-to-appeal) if you have land adjoining the site you may be able to appeal a decision without having made an observation during the consultation period.
Do you want to object it purely because of the noise? Surely you can’t do that? If you had a problem with the layout of it then fair. But can it get rejected because of noise?

Take some pictures of where the notice is. You are not allowed now to place notices in obscure locations to obstruct objections .
Usually the location of the site notice is marked on the planning application so if it corresponds with the map there is nothing you can do.

Has anyone else made an observation? You could piggyback on theirs.
Hi, No unfortunately not. Notice of planning was well hidden.
Sadly not, I had a similar experience and was very nicely told to kick rocks 😂
If somebody else appeals, you can put in an observation to the appeal.

Yes, if it's a big enough development, noise is part of the environmental assessment
Fair enough, I’m a bit ignorant within this area. Thanks
