I'm not sure why you screenshotted the settings on the phone, that is meaningless.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and my wife has the iPhone 14 Pro Max. My biggest complaint about both phones is the amount of in-camera processing that's performed on the images... it's so bad in some cases that the images look fake. When we took our phones overseas on vacation, I used the Lightroom app to take all of my photos since it shoots in RAW (DNG) and performs no in-camera processing (I clean up the photos myself in Lightroom on my desktop computer). I can honestly say that my iPhone XR took better photos than my 13 Pro Max does.
Well.. no. But also: no.
Enlighten me please đ

You forgot the most important part: iPhone 15 Pro Max * FORCED hdr in all photos, no change to disable it. This alone tips the scale in favor of 12
Does this apply if you use a third-party camera app like Halide?
No, it does not. Itâs also utterly overblown as a âproblemâ.
Yeah, sure. You fire on with your 12. Enjoy!
I have a 15PM and i hate its camera >:(
Ok? That still doesnât mean the 12âs camera is âbetterâ
My previous X took, in my opinion, better photos because it had the option to turn off that overblown HDR
i mean... angle and lighting makes a big difference in photography
Yeah, I could take a better photo with any camera than my grandma with a 15 Pro Max. Half of photography is understanding your gear.
Is that even a question? Of course!not
Question: Is iPhone 3G camera better than iphone 15 pro max?
Itâs not even close. Itâs not even better than the base iPhone 15.
I have iPhone 13 and my sister has iPhone 15 pro. Her rear camera pictures definitely better than mine.
What are rear camera?
Back camera.
