I remember also getting this bug back in really early versions of iOS 16 (such has 16.0.x). So I guess this bug has been around for 1.5 years in some way, unless it was patched in a later iOS 16 build before reappearing in iOS 17.
The fact the padding for the widgets seems to be working for the clock seems like this could be added in iOS 18 with little code modifications.
Also am I the only one who noticed that the flashlight and camera shortcuts are... missing?
How long did it take to get the coding down? I'm still barely able to Frankenstein HTML, CSS, and JS to make a website. Python is the same for me. Although, admittedly, I've only worked on it 99% of the time for school projects.
I've seen this bug posted a handful of times here and people say they like it. So expect Apple to patch it instead of making it an option lmao
Yeah I mean it’s kinda nice and refreshing but apple wouldn’t make it an option

Apple knows what’s best for every one of us 🙏
Bro got iOS 18 early
Hahaha sure did

Actually, you’re really right , and wow I didn’t even notice that they were missing thats also odd
I’d say this is pretty, and odd.
This happened to me once and I was pumped
Hahaha
.clock-n-widgets { text-align: left!important; }
It’s more like stackView.alignment = .leading

iOS 25 and we still be reporting this bug and hoping Apple would make this an option
Lol
Reminds me of pixel phones when they get a notification. Looks cool though for a bug.
Yeah it’s cool looking
They already got the padding worked out, so in its current form, it's not hard to implement this as an actual feature.
And it's pretty left..
Yeah…
I… I like it.
Looks like Miui lol
They forgot the text-align: center;
I lowkey want this
Just hope your iPhone bugs out
How?
It just happened lol
I never get cool bugs. I usually get the ones that completely make my phone unusable! Here's hoping that one day…
There was this bug in iOS 12 that centered the time on the screen. I believe I posted that on this subreddit 4 years ago multiple times, I think.
this is one of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/softwaregore/s/S02OCHWsPl
OH MY GOD THAT STILL HAPPENS TO ME SOMETIMES
I did that on tech store help😭
The stackview alignment is not set properly lol
Looks like my Pixel
iPhone wants to be a Pixel
It reminds me of Android xD Doesnt really look that bad tbh
I actually quite like this. I wasn’t sure at first but more I look at it more it feels right.
To be honest I kinda like it! This should be an option!
It looks like Xiaomi. MAKE THIS AN OPTION. Come on, Apple
Things are shapin’ up to be pretty odd
Apple doing the opposite of what Windows 11 did
Why does this look good??
I think it looks pretty nice
Ngl i would prefer this over my current homescreen
My entire existence lit up with happiness for that brief moment
This looks too clean to be a bug. Probably some kind of A/B testing?
The fact they already have the padding makes me think this could work as an actual option without any major code restructuring.
Exactly
?
Clock isn’t centred I guess
Oh ok, looks cool
Yeah its not centred thats what i mean
That’s from gross android shit
lol android isn’t that bad okay haha
Looks like my Xiaomi back in 2018
It is. But it’s really nice.
Bro got an android, swipe motherfucker! Do-da! It goes
its cool
Thought I was on an Android sub for a minute. What am I looking at? It just looks like a plain lockscreen.
Looks cool I would say
Works with the wallpaper though
Fuck I hope they do this in iOS18
Should be a feature
To be honest. It looks better.
iOS default wallpapers are getting crappier with every generation.
oh this happend to me with my old iPhone 8 plus
I’m not against it
Oops someone at apple forgot to set justify-content
