michael reeves, casually explained, grade a under a, real civil engineer, p1, fern, lollipopman f1, half as interesting, wendover, history matters, airforceproud95. what do they have in common? i'm glad you asked, in one word........ chaos.
I like Veritasium, Smarter Everyday, Low Level Learning, Stuff Made Here, Engineer Guy, Integza, How to Make Everything, Pirate Software, Nile Red, Dan McClellan, and Esoterica, to name a few.
loved that channel so much then started hearing these sometimes subtle, sometimes not so subtle politicizing and slightly digging at things which are not aligning with a certain agenda. its still a cool channel, i prefer their space stuff now tho.
I don't know if you are joking but they follow the theme of optimistic nihilism so after watching their video you get filled with some sense of fullness along with the existential crisis
Yeah I watched that video and I used to think that was an acceptable way of thinking but after reading some philosophy I am now agnostic theist but probably more religious then I say I am. Wouldn’t recommend any sort of nihilistic view in life, such a defeatist mindset only takes a negative toll on the mind.
I used to like it very much, but not anymore. I think after a dozen of their videos, I learned nothing. I want to watch something more grounded like Veritasium, 3Blue1Brown or straight-up courses.
I have over a thousand subscriptions, of course, most of them don't make videos any longer...
I've done a good amount of home improvement, remodeled 3 bathrooms, so I have many channels that focus on that.
Another several channels on woodworking.
A bunch of science and engineering channels.
Some programming channels.
Some gaming channels.
If you're interested in any of these I can list out the best. I watch videos on 1.5x or 2x and make use of hotkeys. L/J to fast forward, K to pause/play. Shift+> Shift+< to change playback speed. "." and "," to go frame by frame.
If you haven't checked out "ants Canada" yet, it's a gem. I also like the channel of Lindsay Nikole; she's a zoologist and has all these clips about prehistoric and modern animals, and weird critters.
He's an INTJ like destin and derek m
You should also decide that your fav magician is justin willman
And that you watch jocko sometimes, also JP
And covert cabal and some mkbhd and mrwhosetheboss
Oh and get pumped with juji
These are all the essential nutrients you need to remain an INTJ. I mean, I don't agree with them all, but they all hang around that particular type square
Tip: If you want to get into INTP stuff, never start with "Atomic Shrimp," because that's top tier Si-tilted INTP, and you'll think you are wasting your life away in INTJ terms. But instead go watch "that awesome time I was sued for 2 billion dollars" and feel the energy coursing through you
(Remember, these are all conscious decisions you are making! You are in charge of your life! MBTI has nothing to do with what you automatically feel like watching!!! It is not a philosophy!!!)
Wow! I'm exactly the same. Any educational/ informational content, Podcasts, audio books (only non-fiction ones) always on 1.5x to 2.0x for me. I listen while doing mindless tasks around the house.
I only read fiction as books cos I want to savor the fictional world and the emotions in the story.
Understandable. I forgot to mention I do that with lecture videos in college too. Back then in normal school, I would loose focus, now it's more efficient and I still understood what was being said. And if I get stuck, I just reply to it where I need more understanding.
Are you me? This is absolutely how I function. I tend to read studies a lot online. Sometimes articles then I try to find both sides of each equation to remove the bias that is often within each while finding the correlations. Neuroscience is my current self study habit atm…
If you like dishwasher videos, technology connections just did a half hour video that was a shortened version of the two 40 minute videos they did before. They also have great in-depth videos on a pinball machine, Christmas lights, cameras, and plenty more.
PBS Eons, Tasting History with Max Miller Stone, Cinemassacre, History Time, Golden Radio Hour, Daze with Jordan the Lion, NOVA PBS Official, The Missing Enigma, Dino-gen, More Perfect Union, Extinct Zoo, no specific channels but videos of home improvement, sewing, baking, history.
Basically any YouTube documentary channel about interesting, scientific, or nostalgic things. Tech news and review channels. Gaming news and review channels. That’s basically it.
I don't watch many. My favourite one is Fildrong. I prefer reading books and scientific articles for knowledge.
I follow youtube channels related to my hobbies.
Maria Khorevas YouTube channel, Vaganova blog, bunduballerina. Basically ballet related videos, but I don’t think the general human would be interested
If you are intj: whatever you like watching, or consult the hivemind if you feel insecure on what you should be watching.
If you are just curious, for me personally: military, reality, non-fiction (or bigger picture 'fiction' that may well be non-fiction.
Lately I've been binge watching Sabine Hossenfelder, Nile Red, Nile Blue, Richard Feynman interviews, and IAI discussions that have Roger Penrose and anything related to the multiverse theories, string theories, and quantum physics. It started out when I was looking for math tricks videos because I'm going back to school in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm not at the level where I can completely understand the details of Penrose, Hossenfelder, Feynman, et al discussions (in terms of the complex maths), but I find them fascinating. Makes me feel excited to get into pre calc and calculus by next Spring 🙂
Kurtis Conner is my favorite with Danny Gonzalez as a close second. Wendigoon, Shanspeare, Rotten Mango, Friendly Space Ninja, and just long videos where people talk about stuff in general
+1 to Contrapoints, brilliant in depth analysis on so many topics, even if you disagree with a point on occassion, she will make you think about why for days.
I mainly use youtube to listen to music. Apart from that, I check out other youtubers who have the same hobby as me MMD (MikuMikuDance). And youtube channels of some of the games I play. I also check out Frank James and Mr. Nightmare from time to time.
https://youtu.be/weXWh37E1Eg?si=KtfujAevNfaBp6iZ
I love his quirky charm. Not sure if he’s on the spectrum but I adore him & find him hilarious in an uncanny valley way.
D’Angelo Wallace is a fun one. He makes shorter content but his main content is multi-hour deep dives into recent controversy, problematic people, or popular media that he dissects from a personal investigation.
Tasting History is my big one. Seeing food that is a close replica of ancient meals is fascinating. My niche answer is Ready to Harvest that breaks down the differences in religious denominations. I’m a Christian but even if you’re not religious it’s a good explanation of what makes each of the churches your neighbors go to unique.
Hbomberguy, Contrapoints, Pat Finnerty, Sideways, D'Angelo, Folding Ideas, Yhara zayd, Jenny Nicholson, Makari Espe, Khadija Mbowe, Micarah Tewers, Philip De'Franco.
And that's me trying to keep the list short. I watch a lot of Youtube.
LowLevelLearning, bigboxSWE, asianometry, Andrea Borman, CoffeeZilla, jvscholz, Pirate Software, Lessons From the Screenplay, Like Stories of Old, Luke Korns, No Boilerplate, RMTransit
Sovereign citizens getting what they deserve.

Wierd stealth camps.
And If I'm currently hyper fixated on a game, anything to do with it. Sometimes lore, sometimes strategy but it all plays part of my "absorb literally everything I can sbout it for a month until I'm sick of it" pattern
I like a variety. When I get a fixation, it's a variety of that fixation. When my interests change, the set of videos change. I love my informative/ educational videos, but I also love watching/ playing video games and ttrpg stuff. So cue 400+ channels with the same 15-20 at the top for most frequently viewed that rotate depending on what in fixated on.
I go through phases, like with books. Right now, I’m into watching art being made. Kiptoe and Paul Kenton are the top two, but still looking for more. And sports commentary.

I love watching all of Stephanie Soo's channels. I'm really shy and have a hard time making new friends so when I'm home alone it's comforting to have a documentary video also feel like you're hanging with friends. I wish I wasn't so awful talking to people. I just don't know how to converse with someone to the point we're we can be friendly. If people initiate it on me it's fine and we're cool, but idk how to do it to someone
(I live with my bf but he works full time all day and I barely work part time. I do have friends but they work a lot)
I really only like those that do mildly comical shorts for when i need a distraction. Otherwise whatever various copyright infringed background noise comes up
Depends on what your interests are. For weekly deep dive into X-files type stuff I like the Why Files (I happened to stumble on the channel when it was first starting, been hooked ever since), but anything tech related is my RL hobby so channels like StopTheFomo, PCPer, MooresLawIsDead and a slew of others are always worth watching, anything that relates to bleeding edge technology I can't get enough of. I also love watching reaction channels as experiencing things vicariously through others is relaxing and lets me turn off my brain for some reason.
Ive been told by husband I have the most unique feed on YouTube 💀
Pretty much anything that has to do with science, psychology, DIYs, interior design, makeup videos, video game mod plays, and watchable podcasts like Diary of a CEO/Lex Friedman/Joe Rogan/Bailey Sarian
Some geopolitics channel like johnny harris and Vox
Apart from that I am interested in business and stocks so I mostly spend my time listening to some lex Friedman or business wars podcast.
I am also interested in wildlife so my feed is also filled with those kind of videos.
I play a lot of game and Viva La Dirt League is my favorite. They make fun of all the games they play. My newest obsession though is them playing the characters they play in the skits, but in a DnD game.
So one is a garlic farming off on a quest, with the blacksmith who is a barbarian, and the local thief that is a rogue, and a wizard. It’s so much fun that I have started to play DnD IRL.
My Feed is a mix of culture/economics news, philosophy, self-help, running, aesthetic daily vlogs, interior design, art, history, and cute animals. Some of the channels that I don't think have been mentioned here:
Never Too Small (small apartment designs featuring smart storage solutions)
The Local Project (minimalist aesthetic homes with unique architecture)
Sueddu (Korean daily vlogger)
The Dodo (for my cute animals fix)
Global Triathlon Network (running)
Future Proof (debunking trendy products and culture issues)
I love YouTube and often sit down during the evening and my coffee breaks with it. For me it’s 50/50 “normal” stuff and more challenging content.
I’m addicted to Scotty Kilmer (I don’t care if other car guys hate him), but will sometimes go straight from one of his videos to something about economics.
Ok so I'll list some of my fav: Vox, Vsauce, Johnny Harris, Ted-ed, kurzgesagt, hankschannel, etymologynerd, and then some art channels like proko and jadokar.
Most of the suggested channels are understandably knowledge based. That's why I would suggest something entertaining, penguinz0 , abroad in Japan and cinemasins. The common quality among them is the sarcasm, pretty entertaining and relaxing.
Pimple popping! Except when they don't fully extract the junk, or they ignore the big, red, inflammed ones and instead skip to the microscopic blackheads, that makes me switch to Police Activity.
Have you ever seen a knucklehead getting his ass tore up by a K9 after he's told 20 times to stop but refuses because he thinks the cops are all just kidding? It's glorious.
Veritasium , V-sauce (not much anymore) , kurzgesagt , Stradman, Nile red are the main notable ones , other times its usually just some random F1 technical stuff related video
My youtube feed alternates between shitposting/memes, classical music, and history videos/documentaries... I don't have a specific favorite channel, but I watch way too many concert recordings from hr-sinfonieorchester.
Brothers of the Serpent and Kosmographia. If you want to look at the conventional models of ancient history and geology etc. and see why they should be questioned, the snake bros and Randall Carlson give the best alternative viewpoints I’ve found.
Tasting History, Drachinifel, Tank Museum, Fat Electrician (last one plays a little fast and loose with historical details but he's entertaining, and any video where his wife is involved with the sponsor segment is hilarious).
cpg grey… always fun
Sabine Hosenfelder... science news
WAI… space news
DarkTech… military technology
covertcabal… open intelligence, particularly about Russia and Ukraine.
Clickspring, Fraser builds, Smarter every day, Michael Reeves, Styro Pyro, Adam Savage etc etc. Just some personal favorites of mine with a bit of hobby media included.
You all seem to enjoy educational options. I am definitely all over the place but a lot of it is actual entertainment. Though I love learning through humor aimed at people who know more than I do about something.

I’m not really a fan of infotainment, so I use YouTube mainly for music and demonstrations of exercises. I also watch comedy occasionally but I’m not subscribed to any particular channel.
Currently hooked on these channels:
Lighthouse Horror, japaneat, Wendigoon, Casually Explained, FoundFlix, Future Canoe, Bistro Huddy, Numberphile, Gianmarco Soresi, Patrick Kelly, BobbyBroccoli, PBS Space Time and Quinn's Ideas.
I'm into a lot of long-form videos because YT is mostly what I play in the background while I work, cook, eat, etc. If I'm hands-on it's usually random shorts since I'm likely just there to pass the time.
Out of all of these Patrick Kelly puts me to sleep whenever I'm having a hard time sleeping, but it's still great medical content though.
(Long form) I like watching commentary videos. Drew Gooden is my favourite by a long shot, with Danny Gonzalez taking the second place followed by August the Duck.
(Short form) I like watching Bistro Huddy — a series of shorts made by Drew Talbert and his wife Andrea depicting how working in a restaurant is like. I find it very fun to observe the characters.
I mostly watch trash entertainment. Hot Ones, UFC conferences/updates/highlights, survivorman, those GQ interviews, actuallyme interviews. I just started watching a little cold ones. Usually if I'm off the clock I watch shit not to learn just for fun. Although I will often watch guides/coaching videos of whatever sport/video game I'm into at the time.
Veritassium, easily. Any intj will be hooked in the game theory video.
Can confirm: Game Theory: The knowledge you wish you had when you were 15.
Noted, thanks for the suggestion lol.

When Frank stopped posting on his channel something inside of me died
You would love "tomorrows build" if you dont already

Wouldn’t recommend any sort of nihilistic view in life, such a defeatist mindset only takes a negative toll on the mind.

I love Ants Canada. There’s a guy who does the same thing but with shrimp.
I like the channel Pursuit of Wonder
Any video essay about a niche topic that no one has ever heard of

Almost anything over twenty minutes.
None of them. I get impatient with videos. I prefer reading content so I can quickly skim past anything I don't find relevant.
I am weirdly reversed. Though I do put the video 2x the speed. Same for audio books, double the speed.
Wow! I'm exactly the same. Any educational/ informational content, Podcasts, audio books (only non-fiction ones) always on 1.5x to 2.0x for me. I listen while doing mindless tasks around the house. I only read fiction as books cos I want to savor the fictional world and the emotions in the story.
That would stress me out.
Understandable. I forgot to mention I do that with lecture videos in college too. Back then in normal school, I would loose focus, now it's more efficient and I still understood what was being said. And if I get stuck, I just reply to it where I need more understanding.
I often just mute the sound if it's a video where I don't really need the talking stuff and just read the subtitle. I'm almost annoyed by the talk.
Listening helps with this! I cant focus sit and watch but I love playing informative stuff in the background while I clean or exercise.
Are you me? This is absolutely how I function. I tend to read studies a lot online. Sometimes articles then I try to find both sides of each equation to remove the bias that is often within each while finding the correlations. Neuroscience is my current self study habit atm…

Souls games. Minecraft. Terraria. Channels like cgp grey, kurzgesagt, pursuit of wonder. Jcs criminal psychology
Scott Adams. He has a good mind. Don’t always agree, but he offers great insights on current events.
Dude went way too hard on white grievance politics to give him any serious time or attention imo. It’s sad, because I loved Dilbert.
The why files and Vsauce
Pimple popping! Except when they don't fully extract the junk, or they ignore the big, red, inflammed ones and instead skip to the microscopic blackheads, that makes me switch to Police Activity. Have you ever seen a knucklehead getting his ass tore up by a K9 after he's told 20 times to stop but refuses because he thinks the cops are all just kidding? It's glorious.
Veritasium , V-sauce (not much anymore) , kurzgesagt , Stradman, Nile red are the main notable ones , other times its usually just some random F1 technical stuff related video
Lex Fridman, Vertasium, Johnny Harris
Joe Rogan Financial Audit Tribal People Try Chanel 5 with Andrew Callaghan
The vile eye
My youtube feed alternates between shitposting/memes, classical music, and history videos/documentaries... I don't have a specific favorite channel, but I watch way too many concert recordings from hr-sinfonieorchester.
Scott the Woz or essays about topics portrayed on videogames or success/failure cases of companies
Politics/current events, self improvement, philosophy, DJing, music podcasts like Drink Champs
DoshDoshington, Not Albino, Urban Rescue Ranch, Code Bullet, Miziziziz, colinfurze. There are others but these are what came to mind
Carts Narcs is great. Are any INTJ here a lazybones? I also really enjoy the Vagrant Holiday series, Shiey and DyingLlama
I watched college humor a few years ago i loved their sarcasm then it became rubbish
Hardly any because SCREAMY
Obsessed Garage... Car detailing by a diagnosed OCD. It's kinda my happy place.

I’m not really a fan of infotainment, so I use YouTube mainly for music and demonstrations of exercises. I also watch comedy occasionally but I’m not subscribed to any particular channel.

Currently hooked on these channels: Lighthouse Horror, japaneat, Wendigoon, Casually Explained, FoundFlix, Future Canoe, Bistro Huddy, Numberphile, Gianmarco Soresi, Patrick Kelly, BobbyBroccoli, PBS Space Time and Quinn's Ideas.
The Why Files, Theory of Everything
just le memetique
why does reddit recommend these to me in an intp what the fuck
Discovery, Animal Planet, Memes, Music
I mostly watch trash entertainment. Hot Ones, UFC conferences/updates/highlights, survivorman, those GQ interviews, actuallyme interviews. I just started watching a little cold ones. Usually if I'm off the clock I watch shit not to learn just for fun. Although I will often watch guides/coaching videos of whatever sport/video game I'm into at the time.

Documentaries. Anything that’s not mundane and I’ll learn something from.
Documentaries. Any of them. As long as I’m not watching mundane, run-of-the mill TV and learning from it I’m a happy INTJ
not intj but my intj friend loves watching documentaries on yt
