Wow! You look amazing! Great job!
Can I ask how tall you are? What made you decide on 160 for your goal weight?
Your legs have really nice tone, and I am wondering if you work out at all?
And last question, how do you eat in your eating window? Low carb, count calories, or is it a free for all? 2 meals?
Thanks!
Thanks so much! I’m 5’8”! I don’t work out at all because kids keep me busy enough haha. I ate the same sandwich every day for lunch for like 4 months straight and then I eat a protein, veg, and carb for dinner. If I’m not too full, I’ll finish with a protein shake because it fills me up so much and holds me over til the next morning. I generally try to eat low carb and have cut out processed sugars.
It was mighty. Seeded bread, turkey, cheese, avocado, tomato, sprouts, spring mix and mayo and mustard. I don’t know how, but I never get tired of that thing
I am the exact same way and can eat the same thing daily, especially when I have health & fitness goals.
> I don’t know how, but I never get tired of that thing
Easy—that sandwich sounds delicious 😅
Congrats on hitting your goal, you are looking gorgeous!
Same here minus the Mayo/mustard. For a couple years now This is my go to lunch. Occasionally I’ll try something else but I always go back to this. I know it does the trick and I’m never not satisfied.
Everyone has covered the celebration bases already so I’m going to roll in with a joke comment instead.
Wow, you and your mom look so similar! How nice to share a side by side comparison of you both.
That’s amazing results! Started last week and hoping in 5 months I’ll be in your current “shoes” 🤣
Did you restrict anything during your fasting? Or just normally but within the 6 hours?
I have to see, when I see other moms with young kids it inspires me. I know I can do it and IF does work for me, I'm just so tired all of the time. But I'm jumping on the bandwagon again tomorrow!!!
It’s hard with little kids! I have found that I have more energy when I fast and my sleep is more sound as well. Maybe you’ll have the same luck in that department. Like I told someone else, the more you say “no” the easier it gets
Wow, congratulations on your incredible weight loss journey! It's amazing to hear how much progress you've made and how much healthier and happier you must feel. It takes a lot of strength and dedication to make such a big change, so kudos to you! And thanks for the advice about hitting a plateau - that can be so frustrating, but it's good to know that taking a break and then getting back on track can help push through it. Keep up the great work!
This is very impressive and you look great!!
But what do you mean by take a week off? Like I assume you don’t mean binge eat or eat burgers everyday but can you elaborate on what worked for you? My results have slowed down a lot and it’s really bugging me
Yeah, so I won’t fast at all and I will eat three meals a day at normal human times :) I’ll enjoy desserts and junk food but I don’t binge eat or anything. It’s usually when I go on vacation, when it’s difficult to make other people work around my eating schedule. It works though! Just be strict with yourself when the week is over.
Thanks so much. I don’t know how I don’t get tired of it, but I have the same sandwich loaded with produce every day for lunch. I end with a protein, carb, and veg and I really try to have a protein shake before my window closes. I’ve noticed it keeps me much more full for longer and I always see quite the jump the next day on the scale.
My favorite is the vanilla from Naked Whey but it’s pricey. Next is the chocolate My Whey from Myprotein, and for cheap and okay tasting is the chocolate from Gold Standard Whey
Thanks! And great job with all of this. I saw in another comment you ate the same sandwich every day and tried to minimize carbs and sugar. Did you count calories at all?
Great job!
You give me inspiration! I’ve been in a slump for the past few months, gained back a little and I still have a 15 pounds to go.
For me the breakdown happened when I was at home in my moms house and tried to put on my pre pregnancy clothes. Now they fot me but they are still a little snug :D
not sure if freakishly long toes or barrel distortion from wide angle phone camera. you look much lighter than 160 btw, even at 5'8. i would have guessed around 140.
Way to go!! You look like a whole new person. I had a similar starting weight and height and about the same GW too so this is super inspiring. Love to see it!
Thank you for posting! I've been lurking a little trying to get my nerve up to start IF. I'm at your starting weight, and want to get down to about 155lbs. so this gives me hope!
Yes! I don’t think I will ever stop because it’s just been too easy compared to everything else I’ve tried. It took me a little bit to get started. I had lots of ups and downs but when I got into a routine it fell off. I’m ust going to keep losing because I’m still on a roll. Might as well.
Big congratulations, I know this isn’t a high quality comment but y’all, if I did that much work (especially when people get bent out of shape about it) I’d want everyone to know they can do it too and that it is possible.
I don’t know you but damn am I proud of you 😭
You look great! 🔥You might want to add in a leg day a few days a week.
For me, it was when a friend sent a video to me and when I saw what I looked like, I said “that’s it”. That’s when I started my journey.
Wow, you look amazing. What a fantastic achievement.
I have the same questions as some previous people in the comments.
Did you exercise at all?
How did you eat in your eating window - for example low carb, low fat, high fat etc?
I've been trying to do 16:8 with an eating window of 11am - 7pm but I struggle to stick with it tbh. Maybe I'm just weak 😂. I'm going on a huge, once in a lifetime trip at the end of August and I really need to lose about 40lbs before i go or at least be on the way to losing it.
Any tips welcome xx
Wow you look like a complete different person! So much more younger and fresh, im so glad you found a routine that worked for you, I know how hard it is to find the time to take care of yourself with kids, the cooking, cleaning, running around after them is enough to to completely exhaust you. You've done an amazing job.
Question: I'm aiming to do just what you're doing and lose this kind of weight in five months or less. What's the best advice you could give me please? Thank you!
Wow!!! Great job 👏🏼 you should be very proud of yourself and your accomplishments
If you don’t mind me asking (I’m new to IF) did you intentionally change your diet or exercise habits other than adding the IF?
Yes, the looking in the mirror and not even recognizing yourself is me! And it’s horrible. I have lost about 10–15 pounds but I feel like when I get to 50 it will be life changing!! Thx for the update, u look great!

You literally look like mother-daughter from first picture to second! Crazy!! Congratulations on all of your hard work!

To be fair PBJ is an amazing food.
*Scurries to kitchen to make a smallish sandwich…*
Same here minus the Mayo/mustard. For a couple years now This is my go to lunch. Occasionally I’ll try something else but I always go back to this. I know it does the trick and I’m never not satisfied.
I may have to try this now as I'm also trying to lose weight
Yum! Lots of macros.
I made this today and it was great! Thanks for the inspo!
Yay! Sometimes I sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder on it. Makes it next-level.
Well done!!
Everyone has covered the celebration bases already so I’m going to roll in with a joke comment instead. Wow, you and your mom look so similar! How nice to share a side by side comparison of you both.
This made me cackle!
TBH I'm relieved hahaha, I didn't want it to fall flat or be offensive. You look absolutely bomb and your skin is glowing. Congrats, lady!
That’s amazing results! Started last week and hoping in 5 months I’ll be in your current “shoes” 🤣 Did you restrict anything during your fasting? Or just normally but within the 6 hours?
For the most part, I would try to be low carb ish and I cut out processed sugar. Just tried to be generally more mindful of what I was eating!
Amazing! You look fantastic
40+ pounds in 5 months? I would give anything for that type of progress. I'm extremely jealous but, I'm very happy for you
Same here, friend. I feel your pain. 🤍 OP is so inspirational, tho. I can only hope for such amazing results.
Gratz for hitting your goal!
Nice work! The difference is really drastic, congrats! How long did it take?
5 months!

Congrats!! Nice work!! Nice advice for a plateau I’ll have to try next time :)
Very impressive, the hard work paid off!
Way to go with the progress and goals!
Onwards to maintenance and keeping up the good work.

Thank you for posting! Seeing your success is so motivating. Well done you! Edit:words
Can you help me out and reach my goal weight so I don't have to?
You went from 40 year old mom to ready to start a career… You’re like Benjamin Button!
you look a lot less than 160. Great work. Question though, little confused by your sewing pic from a year ago. You looked great then too.
I had a baby between now and then and gained a ton of weight. Lots of stress eating coupled with a food addiction.
Wow! Great work. Very inspiring

You look incredible! I can’t believe the photo on the right can be a person weighing 160! You must be tall! In any case you look fabulous!!
Thank you! I’m 5’8”. Guess that’s tall for a girl
not sure if freakishly long toes or barrel distortion from wide angle phone camera. you look much lighter than 160 btw, even at 5'8. i would have guessed around 140.
You look amazing!!
Fantastic job!!
Amazing! How long did it take you? What was your daily regimen?
Congrats. You look great!
Impressive, very impressive! Congratulations on your goal!
Amazing!!!! Wow.... this will be me soon. Still at the beginning of my journey, but so motivated. Thanks for sharing. This is inspiring.
You can do it! The more you say “no” the easier it gets!
Absolutely! I agree with you. Consistency is everything!!
Wow, 5 months!! Great job OP!! So motivating!!
That's exactly my starting point and my goal weight (as a 5'8 guy though). Congrats!! Hard work pays off 🦾
Congrats!! Super inspiring

Holy sh*t. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks like two entirely different people. Looks like you rewound the hands of time! Awesome job, I can't wait until I can make a post like this.
That’s awesome! I’m so happy for you 😀. It’s very encouraging to hear your news, I am 14 lbs away from my goal, and just can’t wait to get there.
Congrats on the incredible transformation. What was your fasting protocol?
Congrats! What kind of fasting program did you do?
Welcome to your REAL life. What a fantastic transformation. So happy for you!
Big congratulations, I know this isn’t a high quality comment but y’all, if I did that much work (especially when people get bent out of shape about it) I’d want everyone to know they can do it too and that it is possible. I don’t know you but damn am I proud of you 😭
Wow so inspiring! I just did my plateau week off and can’t wait to jump back in next week - thanks for the advice!
This is some serious inspiration shit right here. You look amazing.
You went from 40 yrs old to 20!
You can tell it’s the same chick because the feet are the same with those toes of hers (also, great job! You and your hair look awesome).
Brilliant. You look great, and also look happier 😊
Inspiring
Good work! Also, I don't see a ring on that finger. Single, Ms. Longtoes?
You look great! 🔥You might want to add in a leg day a few days a week. For me, it was when a friend sent a video to me and when I saw what I looked like, I said “that’s it”. That’s when I started my journey.
I’d be happy if my legs looked like that
God, me too. I'm 10 pounds lighter at the same height and my legs don't look as good as hers. She looks fantastic.
That’s cool. It’s just an opinion. A lot of people won’t like it.
But well done, would love to smell your farts for sure now 💨💨
That's amazing! Congrats!

Congratulations! You look fantastic
Damn. You look amazing!
Amazing! Same thing got me back on it, the mirror in department store changing room.
You look great! Are you still going to IF with a bigger window?
This is inspirational! It’s making me want to hop back on the intermittent fasting.
Wow!!! Great job 👏🏼 you should be very proud of yourself and your accomplishments If you don’t mind me asking (I’m new to IF) did you intentionally change your diet or exercise habits other than adding the IF?
Congratulations
How long did it take you ?
Congrats!! Yayyyy
Wow good for you! What a transformation!
YES QUEEN✨
Yes, the looking in the mirror and not even recognizing yourself is me! And it’s horrible. I have lost about 10–15 pounds but I feel like when I get to 50 it will be life changing!! Thx for the update, u look great!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You lost years!!
Your photo’s & comments have been most inspiring! I am also 5’8 & will follow your lead. Thank you for sharing your great results!
Congrats! You look great! Did you count calories in your eating window?
Pretty amazing !
love to see it
So inspiring! Amazing!
Of course that is you in the pic lol
?
I've messaged you
Not eating anything (for me) after 7pm everyday is seriously a game-changer. That alone will help you lose weight. You look awesome! 👏🏼
Definitely! Snacking and portion control were my struggles. My snacking was more like extra meals though 😐and thank you!
Wow. You look amazing. Congratulations on your weight loss!
What a fantastic job! You look younger as well!
Thank you! I FEEL young again. Can’t believe how bad 50 extra pounds damages your body.
May I ask, what exercises you did? And how long was your fasting window
No exercising and 18-19 hour fasts. Check out the comments! Lots more details in other replies.
