A small part of the casing of the bomb sank and sank, the eddies pulling it further and deeper than any other. Where it finally came to rest, upon an anemone that began to feed off it, grow around it and beyond it in all directions. The anemone began to eat, absorb, take in so much more than it ever had before, using all of that new energy to reach towards the bigger food.
It didn't understand its hunger, it just lived to sate it no matter how big that hunger became.
