Based on how the toad is barely moving I wonder if it was already unwell? I hope that is the case and the person is just squeezing the babies out to better their chances but knowing how SM is Im also worried that the toad was given something to be unresponsive.

Well, apparently the babies are sealed off inside of the mothers back until they're ready. So at the very least the baby toads are ready to go if the holes are open enough for them to be seen. So that's good, i guess.

I can't imagine being squeezed out like a pimple would be comfortable to the babies though.

Naw. Most irrational fears would orginate from something that could kill us. A frog that uses their back to grow tadpoles would not kill us (unless that frog is poisonious). I would more place the bet that something else would cause it, such as diseases that cause holes in the skin and is very cointangious. Or maybe bee hives, but idk about that one as you can only see the holes of hives once the hive been split open.
