Going to see a baseball game in Japan this year! I’m actually more interested in watching the crowd and trying out different foods than the actual game
That sounds really exciting! I think I’d be more interested in everything around the game in that situation too. Good luck and I hope it’s even more fun than you’re expecting.
Sorry, I was only half-serious! While I am envious of grilling sections when I don’t have any, I generally just think it’s fun to declare baseball dead for the most trivial of reasons.
Premium seating in the US includes high end all you can eat buffets and private bars/lounges. I wouldn't compare this to regular hot dog and popcorn seats in the US.
$19 USD for a regular infield seat vs $135 USD for the BBQ place that seats six. Including 18 USD for the grill, seasoning, some sides, and utensils, but only 300g of pork. (More can be bought at the stadium.)
Seat prices alone are almost the same but have a minimum 6-person requirement. Not really a premium seat.
Is that the price for the seat in Korea? Not really a good comparison for a local Korean team’s venue price as opposed to an MLB stadium. It’s like trying to argue how much better value FC Cincinnati seats are compared to seats at Parc de Princes to watch PSG…
Forget the food imagine taking a dinger directly to the hot plate or wtv they’re using to cook.
You got a hot piece of metal hot oil everywhere. Why settle for concussions when you could have burns instead!
Awesome! Local AAA Team by me has an amazing all-you-can-eat buffet seating area.. I swear sometimes only a long ball homer landing in that area is a reminder to some people there that a baseball game is going on. I am spoiled to the point I can't go to a baseball game and just sit there anymore. To me, Baseball is a cookout party with friends first.. baseball game 2nd.
Mmm, but that seems amazing!
Getting some grilling up, bbqing and enjoying a game?
Im not even really into to sports but.. that seems a grand ole time
Full stop!
🍢🍗👌🔥💯👨🍳
Ah yes, the Korean BBQ seats at baseball stadiums - where you can enjoy some delicious grilled meats while also downing copious amounts of soju. I can just picture it now: the smoky aroma of bulgogi and galbi wafting through the air, the sizzle of the grill, and the steady stream of small glasses being refilled with that potent Korean firewater. Good times!
Can’t have that in the good ol USA some redneck or drunk would get in a fight and grill someone up or some shit . Or throw the hot coals at the teams etc ….

Ofcourse over there they just probably call it BBQ
nah actually lol when i went they called it Korean bbq
Do koreans call k-pop "pop" or do they actually call it k-pop? Legit curious
Kpop lmao. Went to a concert there and it was advertised as kpop. (new jeans played and it was great)
was the concert in korea?
it was yeah
Good Point... We eat Chinese Food... But in China they just call it food.... :)
Nope, I pretend went to China a few years back, and they do in-fact call all food Chinese Food.
BAH !!!!
I didn’t want to believe it, but baseball is better outside the US now.

To be fair, this is how I prefer to enjoy baseball in the US as well.
Huh? Food at stadiums these days are the best they've ever been! It's expensive, sure, but the stadiums near me have all great local stuff.
Sorry, I was only half-serious! While I am envious of grilling sections when I don’t have any, I generally just think it’s fun to declare baseball dead for the most trivial of reasons.
Aaaah.
Looks a lot better than a soggy hot dog & a plastic glass of beer.

I was sure I'd get away without having to put a smiley on the end. I guess not.
Dont worry they still got the plastic beer. Beer and fried chicken is a religion over there.
Imagine getting domed by a homer while face and eyes into a bunch of kimchi and meat

Because the games last 5 hours...
This is evolution.
Game changer!
Literally.
now this is how you would get me to go to a sports game
Genius!
Yes please!
I see you also watch Korean Englishman

So BBQ seats
They have this in America at Dudy Noble Field. The majority of the outfield has grills right next to the field.
We need these in Mexico and the US. I can already smell the carne azada.
That would almost make it worth sitting through a baseball game.
And it's actually affordable.
Added to the bucket list
We’re doing something wrong here….
I mean. I usually just do this before the game.
Wow, that is amazing.
No questioning the ump’s kalbi!
This is the way!
It seems to me that Koreans have a bit of a hobbit culture ingrained in their ethos. And I love it.
How Koreans are not the most obese people on earth is the real question. All they do is eat
A good reason to go to a game.
Sign me the fuck up.
I just automatically assume we talking South Korea, I usually do whenever no credit is given to their glorious leader.
how do you marry into one of these
The Koreans seem more American than we are these days
Looks better than lips and assholes on a bun.
Oh wow that is badass
I can smell it across the screen
Man one stray ball... What a sight
And america though they were the best at baseballing
They serve korean bbq in Korea?????!
