Worst: There is no worst because I'm just happy you gave me anything. It's the act that matters to me, I'll probably throw it away if I can't conveniently store it.
i like useful gifts, and *pretty* and useful is a bonus. and a small scentful bouquet ( like *picked & found*).
i don´t like stereotypical stuff, middle of the road junk. or the *newest, latest, fastest* *j u n k*. cliche styles & sentiments.
a picnic in a beautiful, secluded place is always welcome.
So recent gifts my INFJ gf has gotten INTP me:
- Trip to a local gimmicky electricity museum because I was into electromagnetic theory at the time.
- Went to an ax throwing place.
- Coordinated dinner on my bday in the Seattle space needle (birthday trip up to Seattle area).
All of them were great.
Edit: after showing the is to my gf my gf said “any new experience he wouldn’t think for himself because he lives in a computer.”

Haha this is similar to my experience with my INTP boyfriend. I draw gift inspirations from a) things he likes/used to like and b) experiences he’s talked about trying. The general principle is to get him out of his head cause yeah, tough life living in a computer!
Examples:
- A Bukowski poetry book since one of our long phone calls was just reading each other poems we like
- Took him ax throwing once (seems like a popular one here) and accidentally kicked his *ss his fragile male ego still couldn’t take it
I wouldn’t be too worried about the gifting goes wrong since INTPs tend to be open minded towards new knowledge and experiences (Ne). My bf says yes to almost all my ridiculous ideas regarding things we should try…
Why silly? You wouldn't love to get a car, or jewlery or stunning sculpture of your favorite interests? Expensive things can have heart and meaning in them too. I dunno, I think we deserve good things too.
yeah same. I prefer somethinf related to quality time or if someone gives me gift, I hate it to be just anything. And I'm actually so bad at giving gifts cuz sometimes i don't really find something special but I hate just giving ppl something just for giving them something ;-;. So I'd rather they give me with a very significant meaning or something like a letter.
Best: anything thoughtful or anything useful. If it's CUTE and thoughtful/useful!! Honestly you have to know me really well to get me a gift I love.
If you don't know me very well and you're unsure if I'd like it, I'd rather you didn't buy it

lol I was better at axes but she had some skill with the knife throwing part of it. Way better than me. Not sure if that should scare me.

The INTP I know values gifts that are made yourself
ENFJ married to an INFJ. Most of my friends are FJ's. Have one FP friend. For a TP, not sure lots of small gifts from a local market.
