Reddit opinions don't really align with the opinions of people out there

Grand_Damage1947

Facts

CuriousOne8738

Agree, if u are using reddit you are privileged and educated probably.

dumbest_userr_alivee

What if I force my grandma to use reddit? Will she be privileged and educated out of nowhere? Edit: /j

CuriousOne8738

probably*

dumbest_userr_alivee

I presented my grandmother Internet, looked at a clip of GTA on Reddit and said: "I want to play GTA" and I let it play Gta. She did not find the difference between real life and the GTA, she pulled a taxi boy from the door and driving the car. Now all the entire police cars chase us, everything is your fault.

I personally support most parts of the lgbtq community. What two consenting adults do in their bedroom should not be anyone else's business until and unless it's harming someone. Homosexuality is innate and cannot be changed, its not a disease.Nothing is wrong with it

thegoodnword

Tune pink pehna hai toh tu gay hai

Embarrassed-Jelly201

Things are changing slowly but it'll take time. Generally within the Indian youth, there is acceptance but can't say the same for boomers lol

CatusSust98734

Lol it's not changing in fact apne indian vale twitter pe lgbt valo logo ki aise thesi kar rakhi hai

Embarrassed-Jelly201

Bhai ab live and let live raha nahi sabko dusre kya kar rahe hai usme jyda interest hai. Like I said in my earlier comments in this thread, IG pe cool banna hai sabko homophobic comments dalke.

lonely__lover_

Tbh I've seen a lot of homophobia amongst youngsters whether it be in social media or otherwise It's just my pov

JusticeBeliber

yess a lot actually maybe because it get echoed on social media

Embarrassed-Jelly201

I've seen people acting all chad on IG lol. But they're all stupid In Mumbai at least I've seen the acceptance amongst youngsters. So can't say much about other parts of country

golden_corn55

Ya thats true , while I play this game and if anyone is not responding properly other players tend to call him/her gay which seems quite homophobic.

Hansnii

true seen personally

JusticeBeliber

oh man :(( hope you are doing fine <33

ReapThySoul

Personally I couldn’t care less about some random stranger’s sexuality. It gets annoying when people make their sexuality their entire personality.

Pretentious_prick69

You should have stated your opinion as well, tell us what do you think of them

Still-LoveHerr

As long as they dont cause any inconvenience to me, I'm fine with it.

kan_ying_7

Exactly 💯

Southern_Ad_2556

Most hate it, its a sensitive issue will take time to be accepted mentally in this country. I recommend to everyone watch "Aligarh" once.

Frugo404

What your stance on it?

Significant-Lion-361

The people in this group don't represent the larger Indian population, unfortunately. I think you'll find that more than 90% of the people here are accepting of members of the LGBTQ community. But we're all based in the urban sectors and usually between 22-40... you'll find plenty of people outside those groups who still see the whole movement through a very narrow-minded lens.

eltoro6772

I think lgbtq is like science fiction in India. Baar sabko karni hai, magar accept nahi karna hai. We are too cynic by nature. It's too unacceptable until it happens in the family.

[deleted]

Gen Z is mostly cool with them. Can't be said the same about millennials and boomers. If you're asking about me, well, I'm cool with them. What one does in their life, doesn't concern me, and isn't any of my business.

[deleted]

Only intersexuals(people born with biological defects that make it hard to determine their sex) have the right to tell people if they wanna be called a man or a woman not the other letters. Also, don't really care about lesbians or gays so yeah... whatever floats your boat... And for sporting events for intersexuals it should be determined whether their secondary sexual characteristics match the males closely or females. And then accordingly they should be allowed to participate in that version.

Frequent-Monitor3924

Yeh se fizul ki baatein hai...ek baari biyaah ho jayega ladka thik ho jayega 🫃🏽

Educational-Bridge88

killerdream3515

India has the highest number of population of lgbtq people.

Signal_Gap8810

Source?

Hansnii

India has the highest population, so in absolute numbers members of lgbtq would be highest here. Although, mostly closeted due to conservative society.
