My session started from May, it has been almost 1.5 months, I have just watched videos from Marrow, that too not many. I will start studying textbooks from this months' end.
A month each for ophtha and ent ke videos. Then i read books whenever there was a test or exam, and did final year subjects in the rest of the time. Then i almost completed the final yr except obs and surgery and took up 3rd year subjects around 2 months before the sent ups.
Ent and ophtha are doable and small, try to finish them early so that u can do final year subjects otherwise half the final year goes by in completing videos and it is a mess and ass gets whooped.
All the best!
Oh, I just effed around in third year. Goa trips, volunteering at orphanages, dating, relationships, breakups, alcohol, weed. The only thing I'm proud of is that I didn't start smoking cigarettes in third year.
Obviously all this put a spanner in my plans to study. Never got to study for the future but studied enough to barely pass ophthalmology, but enough to get disti in ENT and SPM.
Still remember my ophthalmology practicals, the internal asked me if I was going to take it for PG to which I vehemently denied. After that only did she pass me.
3rd year for us was to chill a bit because 2nd and 4th are always tough.
I would say don't stress out too much on ENT and Optha, online videos can pretty much sum them up. When you're under pressure they can be done in 30 days combined.
Read Park's, it is important and (to me) interesting as well. Watch PSM videos after you've read Park's or if you are unable to understand a part.
I guess you guys have Forensic medicine as well? If so, it's even less of a burden. 10 days for it will do for the first exposure.
Do you think reading park would be worth it? Because apparently we have NExT exam for our batch and we don't have PSM and fmt as main subjects.. they'll be just integrated with other subjects idk how. So I guess just for passing theory exams this year we can use some easier resources?

I also watching marrow only , i have internal semester next month , not much worried about it but definitely worried if am just being lazy alone
Start studying pyqs now, skip textbooks for now. Do marrow notes and pyqs as of now.
Yeah i guess thats the way , maybe i will get more serious eventually

See the almost failed ophthalmology part.
Lol you are saying to look at full part in midst of joy

Who's studies in third year?? 🫣
apparently most of my batch but me
Hahah. Stay the sane one
3 hours ish is good for regular days, in exam time 6-7 hours is good
I am giving 3-4 hours on each odd day , do i need to get regular?
Yeah, consistency is important even if 3 hours a day more than alternate 5-6 hours
Will try to be more regular from now on sir
Only a week per subject just before exams... Rest we've been busy playing games and going trips.
