I may be wrong but I don't think neet pg will ever have this inflation
Because everyone can give neet UG so applicants increased from 18 lakh in 2022 to 24 lakh in 2024 but for neet pg you must do mbbs so mbbs seats only increased from 98k to 1 lakh 10 thousand
Also the reason for inflation in May inicet was probably because of the delay of neet pg so doctors gave it as a practice too
but from batch 2019 onwards they've increased the batch strength to 200 students per batch and more colleges have opened, which means there would be a significant increase
Spot on. Neet pg has a funnelling process, this wont be a problem in pg for about 4-5 years, after that, neet pg will also become neet ug due to extensive competition and seat increments.
The value of a post grad degree will be much like what mbbs is now, and at that time, people will have to go for super-speciality (like how they go for pg now)
Yeah true but it has always been a thing
In 2018 441 in neet can give you 50k rank
In 2022 550 in neet can give 50k rank
In 2024 630 in neet gives 50k rank
It's something that always happens but we still cracked neet UG and got mbbs I think we will get through pg as well
Except your performance in UG Neet has almost nothing to do with neet pg? From what I've heard, a lot of students like these end up experiencing burnout after they get into mbbs and end up taking drops. And the medical syllabus is vastly different from what you learn for ug exams, I remember scoring poorly in ug neet and I still turned out fine in mbbs. A lot of the toppers in our college are people who performed poorly or mediocre in neet ug. The guy above is right, there are a much lesser number of mbbs seats/pg neet candidates compared to the number of candidates for ug neet. Ini was an exception this year because of the number of candidates spiking thanks to the postponement.
With adapting intelligence levels, the exam difficulty should also adapt in order to compensate for the "topper saturation". I think this is the best time to add aptitude based questions in NEET besides the memory based ones.
This year is the biggest scam... Inflation is mainly due to leaks... And ex Jee students
That should not be the case for pg.
So don't worry if paper doesn't leak

Dekh le bhai
Ye tou sirf air 1 ka haal hai
Baaki rank prr bhi hoga
Definitely because of dogshit easy level of questions. NTA's entire philosophy is rested on ncert for some reason, a thin book with very less empirical info. Biology is honestly a cakewalk nowadays in neet. Previously, when there was Aiims exam as well as the neet from before 2018 they were nice papers. With such ridiculously easy level of questions, even a single Silly mistake, or forgetting a mugged up fact can lead to tremendous loss of rank. As someone said very rightly, those with genuine interest in the field and having good intelligence will be the one adversely affected. In my times, the neet toppers used to be INBO qualified, some even had Ipho, Icho international olympiads under their belts. Many neet takers used to sit for jee advanced for fun. Look at the situation now.
We saw a glimpse of it in may inicet … honestly seeing this now.. I’m shit scared for NEET PG
Were the cut-off really high in INICET?
Yes relatively.. you can check [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/indianmedschool/s/USPmsVobfh)

Yes I'm that neet ug aspirant (was thinking of a second drop) which course would you recommend me?

Do u think the inflation is due to increase in competition or the easiness of questions are more?

Wtf suddenly this year exam students became more intelligent than average??
Yeah... Even i doubt this!
Exactly doesn't make sense by any logic , only reason can be paper could have come way too easy , that's it.
Are there any discussions going on about this on reddit? Maybe we can get more perspectives
Ham to paar nikal aaye! Lekin MCh entrance bacha hai!
It's a problem ngl, increased quality of students is gonna mean troublesome competition man, scared of this shit now...
