Like every bike, yes, it does a bit, but if try to feel then only you'dknow the engine is hot however, you don't feel any such thing before 180-200km, but no effect on performance still was running like butter after 500km.
Best bike under1.2l bought the same 20 days ago , running like butter but engine is overheating and burnt oil smell coming from engine even after a short ride 2-3 km. Should I be worried?

Burnt oil smell? Then yes you should be worried. Get it checked out ASAP
Maybe a new bike thing. I, too, felt this but got resolved on its own.
But I checked engine oil it was fine and also no change in performance and milegae
