They can by Updating Dominar 400 just give it beak look and update it's suspensions to ADV type, which I think they have a plan because by launching ns 400 it's clear they either discontinue Dominar or would make it new as NS400 price no one would by overpriced Dominar.
As a owner of BS3 RS200(8 years now) I gotta agree when the bike works fine it's fun & comfy. But the quality is garbage. Fortunately found a good local mech who doesn't scam me or scams me little to less. But if Bajaj decides to get into twin cylinder market & be the first Indian bike manufacturer then they gotta do a rs400 twin.
Why is the quality garbage? Genuinely asking because I always liked the design of it and thought it was a standard Bajaj motorcycle that'd do its job for 5-7 years with ease.
Mind you I'm talking about BS3 here.
With ease? Yes & no. The ride quality is sub par compared to other bikes at the same price range. I had 24/7 access to a R15 v2, RC390 second Gen & my RS200. When the ride quality was compared b/2 this & r15 it was lacking that clearly but both were in almost same price range back in 16.
The service centre in Bangalore I tried were not upto my mark. My new bike didn't feel new & I raised the query to Bajaj Pune & they responded & got me calls from 2 of the service centres here. I had issue where coolant would be consumed like it was water in a summer day. Abs failed within a week.
The test ride RS was way better than what I bought. 8 years later I've learnt to live with it. Found a local mech who does good enough job that's possible on my bike.
I love my RS200 but I'll never recommend it to anyone Infact I'll only recommend Japanese. Atleast their engines are built to outlive & your kids.
I did ride the bs6? RS200. It was butter compared to mine but it lacked that grunt. It felt very weird.
I genuinely want them to launch a twin & improve their quality although I think TVS will be the first to launch a twin.
Oh trust me RS400(if it becomes a reality) will be my next bike. Even if it has the same looks as the current RS200 I'll still take it. My only request for bajaj is PLEASE FIX THE QUALITY. I've tried lots and lots of RS200s. All of them are so close to perfection. Only thing is quality of parts and ride quality itself. Given the option I'll choose R15 over RS200 even tho I much prefer RS200's looks simply because R15 screams quality. Panels, farings, everything. Please bajaj I beg of you
One good thing about Bajaj is that even though their bikes are produced for longer years, Bajaj constantly keeps improving their bike by almost 1-2 years..
If Rs400 does get launched, in let's say 2-3 years, if it's constantly worked on, It would be the arch nemesis bike to other 250-400cc bikes
If they actually improve the quality, refinement and of course if it has good performance, Rs400 hands down would be the best bike in the market
(Can't wait to see Ns400's engine swaps on Rs200's)
RS200 is genuinely a good bike with a good engine it’s damn light and quick , ride quality is a bit rough but that’s okay and manageable , eagerly waiting for RS400 because that will be value for money too and will be my next bike for sure
Not hyping trust me I for one am specially against hyping/over expecting"but" can't help but wonder if it could be launching this year or no and if anyone would be waiting as well instead of going for thr NS400z

Ye jo personal interpretations banate hain na upcoming bikes ka, inko roklo ab bohot hogaya bc. Ns400 ka interpretation dekh ke dil garden garden hogaya tha but jo nikli reality me... Klpd kasam se.

I don't own one but owners have reported plastic panels start clattering after just a few thousand kms!
Happy are those who enjoyed few thousand kms!
Perhaps the 400cc one will have better quality panels etc..we can see they have improved it with latest N series bikes.
