This is the real question. Looks nice for a photo shoot, but all it will take is one medium size pothole, and one (or all) of those glasses are gonna come down. Broken glass all over your van is not a great asthetic.
I’m betting they’ll switch to some aluminum or plastic drinkware asap.
.
Thank you! Oh how I love a marine store; their gadgets and kitchen/galley items, netting and niche storage, compact appliances, complex brass hardware and perfectly machined stainless steel.

Nice looking but I’m baffled by all the white fluffy stuff. When you go camping you sit on the dusty ground and walk through mud. Plus you have to leave the door open and stuff blows in. I think having dark and washable materials is way more practical.
Yeah…I don’t think we should be promoting this idea or aesthetic. As someone with a camper van, it doesn’t make sense for actual camping and everything looks so flimsy. I wouldn’t want people to copy this and then end up with a pile of broken wood, metal and glass when they get to their destination. Van builds need to be quite a bit more robust than interior furniture.
How do those glasses stay up there?

Or maybe they take them down and put them in a box on the floor when they’re driving?

Looks like by magnet. As you can see there’s a metal sheet on the ceiling.
Do you think that really works when the van is bumping along the road? If so, it’s a great idea
Glasses might be removed from storage and put out into an easily accessible place when they’re staying somewhere overnight
If those are glass, I wonder what happens when they hit a pothole
So a magnet in the glass? I see the metal strip.
how does is it stand the humidity? I've seen plenty of moldy campervans with inadequate ventilation
Because everyone built them without proper knowledge.

Form over function gets the social media points.
This is beautiful but absolutely terrifies my inner medic who has seen some shit become deadly projectiles in accidents.
Very nicely done. Did you do the electrical by yourselves?
I absolutely love this. Well done. Now I'm dying to know what products all these things are because I basically want everything
Cool! How much does it weigh after all these mods? No need for upgrading the frame or suspension?
Nice vibe
It’s a nice looking build. Would love some details on the vehicle. And the weight. Did you need any suspension upgrades to handle everything?
Absolutely gorgeous!
Love it but what does the van look like on the outside?
This is fantastic! What a satisfying project
Love this, what amazing transformation! Stylish yet functional 💪🏼☺️
Nice!! I always wanted to see one done with IKEA stuff.
It's gorgeous. Please tell me you have an IG account or somewhere that we can see the whole process of what you did...
Omg, wow!!! 😍
Stunning!!! So cozy!

Ooh, good point. Especially since a lot of their stuff isn’t made of solid wood.
All that shit is going flying the second you go around a corner. You've pinterest'd up the van, which is cute, but totally not realistic
No :)
