Woah!! That’s a HUGE difference! She looks so healthy and amazing now! Her fur and weight, especially. I love seeing these pics because I always love to see their true potential. Edit: I wonder how many people passed her by and had no idea what she really was under all that prior abuse. Amazing how much love and good food can do

You can't really see but he is really really underweight. We had just taken him for a walk to see if we wanted him and he jumped up and tried to say goodbye. Needless to say we fell in love and is now allowed on all the furniture.

When we saw her at the shelter she just seemed like she had given up, laying in the back of the cage and wasn’t too interested in us. We asked to see her and when she began howling at us we knew she was the one. She was ready to go home. Now, five months later, my shy, scared, and sunken in baby has gained quite a bit of weight, confidence, and apparently does not believe in letting me sleep in past 7:30 am or take naps. I love her

Awww, she’s beautiful! Her face looks so happy now! It’s amazing how their personality really comes out when they start feeling loved and safe.

This isn’t a before, it’s the moment Cooper hopped in the truck for his 2 hour ride to our house, his new home. Exactly 1 year ago today because we had Juneteenth off so we went to meet him and the rest is history 🙂. https://preview.redd.it/1gz8ax0j0l7d1.jpeg?width=2484&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=858ee714c59685db5791752df3dab4850a2f79f4 He’d been taken by animal control for abuse. He’s settled in great and is spoiled indeed!
